Remarks

I think almost all are positive. Only that it has 5 events in which 3 are written internals and the other two may be written internals or assignments or projects! So compared to other engineering colleges it is a lot more events and students are busy the whole year!

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's a bit of a good grind. Not that it has something different compared to other colleges but being a Private University they have got Thier own syllabus. But it is still based upon the VTU syllabus and meets the needs almost.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah, our college provides internships. A lot of companies come here to hire students. And as Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is known for its placements cell the students are highly recommended for the companies for internships and all. I haven't completed any internships yet.

Placement Experience

4.5

A lot of companies come here to hire students. We have almost 100% placements every year. And as Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is known for its placements cell the students are highly recommended for the companies for internships and jobs all.

College Events

4.5

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is itself famous for its annual fest ..." JAYCIANA.".It's also called to be Mysore's mini-Dasara. With a lot of various events and activities conducted. A lot of celebrities of national and international fame are invited!! Apart from that, the whole year seems to be buzzing with various club activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is almost feasible. For the quality of teaching staff, maintenance of the college it looks fair. But in the case of management seats, it seems to be a bit expensive, but it's "management seats" and so agreeable!

Fees and Financial Aid

Most of the students are accessing the state and Central government scholarships, and the college is very informative and supportive of that! And for those who are not getting any and with low income. The college provides scholarship with its fee waiver schemes!

Campus Life

4

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is home for a lot of activities. All the students are encouraged to join any of the many clubs in here made up of various extracurricular activities, sports, and technical clubs. The faculty is also very supportive!

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The food is good but with little variety. Pure vegetarian food (as expected because the college is run by JSS Mahavidyapeetha). Infrastructure is not a bad New building coming up! (the construction is going on)

Alumni/Alumna

Very much! The alumni work to help Thier juniors in any way possible. And to be honest the relationships here between the juniors and seniors are too good! And that's the plus point as more the network we build better consultancy we get!

Exam Structure

The exam structure is the same as that of the Vishweshwarayya Technological University (VTU). Being Private University they have their own papers set.., but of the same standard as that of VTU and much difficult too sometimes maybe.

Admission

Getting admissions at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is based on two things. 1: Merit(through competitive exams) 2: Management seats I got admission through K-CET. CET and COMED-K both entrees are accepted.

Faculty

4

Well experienced faculty. Senior Profs are all having their Ph.D. Friendly and good teaching faculty. They have their own way of teaching and interacting with students who are good. Overall great staff.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
