- The infrastructure and campus design, which includes all facilities and amenities covering all aspects like sports, education and extra curriculars
- The amenities at campus include: football turf, basketball court, cricket nets, kabaddi court, volleyball court as well as an indoor sports arena which has foosball, table tennis, snooker, carrom, chess). There is also a library with advanc software
- There is a club/committee for everything: dance, music, debating, social action, event management, entrepreneurship as well as all sports
Dislikes
- The rules and regulations of the university are very strict and have to be followed at all times, and absolute discipline has to be mantained at all times within campus. There is serious action taken in case of non compliance
- The attendance policy is very strict, which requires students to maintain a minimum attendance of atleast 85% at the end of each semester. If not mantained there are cases of detention/suspension
- Weighted assignments are given to students at regular intervals which effect the overall cgpa at the end of each semester, so hard work and dedication is required throughout the semester to get a good grade
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which i have chosen is very relevant and feasible according to todays corporate situation The curriculum designed gives a balance between theoretical and practical knowledge, which is apt to get a high paying job in the corporate world
Internships Opportunities
There are multiple internship opportunities available at my college, and there is a specific club called kaps for the same which can be joined by students and various opportunities available can be explored. A summer internship at the end of first year is compulsory for all the students
Placement Experience
The placements offered are great, and above the average of other colleges. This year, D. E SHAW has offered a package of 22.5lpa, making it the highest package offered for the year. The average revolves between 5-7lpa. Most of the students who sit for placements get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
1st year fees for the course: 2,23,000(tution fees) + 5,000 (admission fees) Registration fees for christ entrance exam: 1,050 Scholarship facilities are also available for the economically challenged, which is informed after the start of session No scholarship is given on the basis of reservation
Campus Life
My overall experience in the campus has been great so far, and i have joined various clubs and am taking part in various sporting as well as extra curricular activities that take place. There are events and fests happening every month
Admission
I chose the college because of its distinguished and highly recommended course plans offered, and also its location being in the city which is the start up hub of india. Comparing the college with other ones, it ranks higher than most colleges in country across all aspects, being a tier 1 college
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in the university is one of the best in the country, with about 1 teacher per 25-30 students, as compared to the country average of 1:80.The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced and share practical real life experiences
Interview Experience
For the admission processs, there is a test in round1 which is called christ university entrance test(cuet). Approximately 5-7 days later, there is another selection process which includes micro presentation, skill assessment and a personal interview. After these two rounds, the result is declared on the offical website about a week later
