How is Sibsagar girls College review

The curriculum is really good and it is really helpful for students who later wants to do MA and go for teaching line. If someone wants to become a CA it is really good if he or she has a degree in economics and as I have said already the economics department in this college is really good so it is beneficial for someone who wants to pursue economics. The teaching method and curriculum is also good but it can be improve if the professor is also see the students problem as some of them faces from the some of them faces the problem when teachers don't give lectures in English. Sometime you can't understand the understand some professor's teaching method. As economics department there's one particular professor which teaching method is really hard to understand it's all so bookish. And the sessional exam happens really suddenly so sometimes you can't have enough time to prepare for the exam. Though the sessional exams are not really hard but you have to study for it from the start.

So first you have to pay 7150 rs for something like that for admission and if you are from economically weaker section then you have to face successfully rs but there's also option where you have to pay nothing the admission is totally free. This is same for everyone every category doesn't matter if you are from SC, ST or OBC. Well there are some scholarship that really help students with their finance. So in terms of money and affordability this college is really good for everyone who really wants to get a good education

There is not really a campus life as the campus is really small sometimes it feels really suffocating. If you want a vibrant campus life then this is the wrong college you will be choosing. This college don't really hold fest it is either general freshers where they bring a really popular singer and the Teachers day the department freshers etc. But there are some club if you are interested you can go for it. The library is better good but there are some books related to semesters which you will not be able to find in the library. The library has newly put computers for the students and they are trying to make it more good for everyone. The NCC is really strong here. So if you are interested in NCC then surely you should join.

This college have only arts and science stream. The science stream has building from the arts building. I applied for many colleges other than this. For example darrang college, sibsagar college. This college has better reputation in sibsagar compared to other colleges. For darrang college I didn't have enough time to go there and take the admission and I didn't want to study in Sibsagar College. But comparing to sibsagar college has not good infrastructure and n the campus is pretty small. For the admission the process is really simple which is you have to have minimum 45% you have to bring your important documents and 12th marksheet. You don't have to give any entrance exam. In this college the English and geography is in demand many students choose this subject.

The faculty of economics department is really good. The professors are friendly and approachable. As they have less students in this department they can be attention to everyone and every student so I really helps when some students have doubt and they can just go to the professor and clear it out. As I have heard the other departments are also good but sometimes there's a problem for the English medium students as some professors here don't really give lectures in English or don't teach in English so it's hard for those student who are from English medium to take notes. As I have taken my minor subject in education and I face in the same problem as professors don't really speak in English except but there is is one professor from education department who give lectures in English and he also give notes to the students. There are semester exams but first comes the sessional exam the exam carries 40 marks in total but you have to take one by one so one exam carries 10 or 20 marks
