Course Curriculum Overview

3

Therapy pushed me to pick this course up. Brain and behavior are deeply investigated and looked at in the course while providing necessary industrial visits and sessions or seminars. The course works moderately to help prepare for the industry. only internships can help with this. A more practical approach will be beneficial. The frequency of exams is every 2 months and between those months we have assignments that directly affect our overall score the difficulty is of course there as they expect a great deal from their students.

Fees and Financial Aid

yearly fees for people in ba psychology and English is 95000 including everything, but usually for BBA students, it goes up to 2lakhs and more. the options for scholarships are very low of you hail from middle-class background. Although there may be scholarships available if your socio-economic status allows the required criteria, it is given in detail on the website as well. Moreover for Christian students, the scholarships may differ. The fees usually increase by a little every few years according to changes in syllabus and UGC guidelines

Campus Life

4

annual festivities- darpan, blossoms, natya arpana, magnificat. the library is one of the most beneficial features of the university. it has wide range of books and journals both online and in perspm the facilities and technologies are top notch and world class. the sports and extra curricular activites are given similar importance as to academics

Admission

I chose this college because of its brand name and campus culture. I applied to MCC but chose this over it as my parents wanted me to learn at a more diverse university. The eligibility depends from course to course and changes due to UGC guidelines. best to check the website for accurate and timely details

Faculty

3.5

the faculty to student ratio is good. the relationship actually depends faculty to faculty and mostly varies in campuses. central campus has a better student faculty relationships than most newly opened campuses. the marking scheme is usually divided into 4 assessments. One CIA (Continuous Internal Assessment) before mid semester exams, followed by mid semester exams, then Cia 2, followed by end semester exams which are external. Although this may vary course to course. The backlogs are less in number in general but of course there will be some. The course is very relevant but lacks a little practical application and is mostly theoritical in nature, supporting the reserach culture but lacking in vocational skills. (at least in psych)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
