Course Curriculum Overview

3

•To be honest this subject was not my priority but since I had to choose it cause no other option was left .But then by knowing the placement and experience we acquire from this college will surely give a good turnout. •Since there is a good patient rush so we can have more real life experience and learn more and more. You'll not run out of experience when done with all heart and brain. • If I talk about the course it's importance is not much given as much it requires as it is highly skilled course which need to be appreciated and paid more. •for every internal exam there is a 2 month gaps which is okay. And can be easily tackled if studied routinely daily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

•During 1 year internship stipend which is paid is -25k(now) •And after internship 1 year service bond in any esic hospital which pays -1 lakh • After completing the bond you may pursue higher degree such as mds or from any foreign country where it is highly paid and in more demand • you can also open your own clinic which would be a really big task in beginning but if you are skilled it is a good option.

Placement Experience

4.5

In our campus after completing 4 years;1 year internship has to be done which is paid around 25k now and after that we have to do service for 1 year (as signed in bond during admission) • the service has to be done in esic hospital which pays around 1 lakh average every month • after bond completion mds and other practice in foreign countries can be done (Like USA ,DUBAI ,CANADA- Which pays a very good amount)

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fees is divided into two I) if you have esic quota then fees would be 24,000 per year ii) if you don't have quota then the all india quota fees is 1,00,000 •Along with this many extra charges are also added like caution fees and registration fees which comes more around 15,000 •Hostel fees is same for both quota;it charge 10,000 per year with all accommodations like bed cupboard table and chairs . •There are also other charges to be paid before external exam as University fee which varies in all the batch . (Like for 1st year it is 2900 and for 2nd year students it is 4250 ) • There are scholarship available for state quota students which also varies in all the categories •This means a total of 50-60k fee for Esic quota students and around 1.15 lakhs for all india quota student. • i.e- For Esic quota student Tution fees =24000 Extra charges =15000 Hostel charges =10000 Total= approx. 50k •For All india quota and state quota student (without esic quota) Tution fees =1 lakh

Campus Life

3.5

• Every year college fest ,freshers for 1st years , Ganpati event, convocation for internship and various other seminars and days are celebrated. • the college fest have various events and sports competition among seniors and juniors • this gives opportunity for both social interaction between faculties and college mates

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is provided with all the amenities including 1 room 1 kitchen 1 balcony and common washrooms. • Amenities available in each room are- bed table Chairs Cupboard And side drawers • no electricity bill is charged separately • for food student mess is available in the campus which charge around 3200 every month ( not included in hostel fees) • For hostel registration it can be done during time of admission • Pgs and rooms are also available at 2-3km from campus

Admission

• My cutoff was little less than getting into a medical college but I choose this college due to following reasons - i)central government registered college ii) have esic quota iii) well managed campus iv) deserving placement v)best faculties vi) best facilities with proper labs ,preclinics and clinics You can also apply to Esic dental college,New Delhi ;if you belong to Delhi and have ip quota •I got other dental college but I choose this one due to the above reasons and it was under the cutoff which I secured. •firstly the approval letter from nmc after selection from neet counselling then a call from college which you get .then there is admission procedure where we have to come to college and provide all the required documents and fees and bond which needs to be submitted. Eligibility - Neet cutoff which keeps varying every year Cutoff can be seen in college website

Faculty

4.5

• The faculty are sufficient as for a single subject we have 3-4 faculties including assistant professor and junior residents along with head of department All are equally supportive and provide with best knowledge. For eg we have a strength of 59 student for which 2 separate batches are made for practical classes and for both batches 2 professors are there to guide and teach .And above this all are highly experienced • Many of them from different departments are my favourite which really motivate us and especially they give special attention to students who take time to learn. •No faculties are there which cannot be liked ..yeah some are strict but that is for our own good . and strict teachers make focus on the subject very well so it is good in a way. • there are 3 internals and 1 external exam consisting of theory and practical exams •Difficulty is moderate to easy and sometimes it's difficult when not studied properly:) • This is the course if done here will not regret
