Entrance Exam

As the college is autonomous the curriculum is very much updated and a lot is inspired by IITs also the optional subjects in the third and fourth year are very industry ready. So the curriculum takes care of all basics and also make students ready for their future.

The internship is not provided by the college in college for everyone, but for very high scorers college provide the opportunity for an internship. Some of the faculties have the link in the industry they help and guidance to get the internship.

We have 2 major events first is dash which is the technical festival of our college and the cultural festival is Eclecia in which a whole lot of events happens, Stars like Mohit Chauhan, Farhan Akhtar, jstar have performed.

The fee structure is very much feasible it is around 45000 per semester and there are around 20000 extra charges during admission. Compared to different private colleges all over India also the hostel charges are feasible.

Loan facilities are provided by the bank also there is a pnb bank which helps in getting a loan. Scholarship as such is not provided by the college but there are scholarship programs from West Bengal government.

There are a lot of opportunities for extracurricular activities including various sports and other clubs for different pieces of stuff like flying club, for dance, and clubs for debate and Rotaract club for helping poor.

The hostel is good with well-maintained buildings and security and also the mess service provided is nice with tasty and hygienic food. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels are on the campus of the college.

College does not have much strong alumni network but we are well linked to our seniors who have passed from the college. It is mostly one to one interaction and they help in different scenarios. There is space to improve this sector.

The exam structure is lucid there is two internal paper for theory and then we have a practical exam for every theory paper, internals and attendance count for 30 marks out of 100 of the paper and the other 70 marks are from semester exam in which we have 10marks objective and 60 marks subjective.

To get admission in heritage institute of technology one has to appear for WBJEE(West Bengal joint entrance exam ) and the in counseling process organized by but one will get college and department based on their rank.

The college has a mix of all type of faculties some are really esteemed in their field of interest has gotten many awards and also some are faculties from its and nits. Also, there are many average level facilities.
