Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is old in my opinion they need to upgrade the syllabus according to new texh but we learn all basic old tech which is not even needed in today world ,Teaching method is most likely ysing ppt and live practical example

Recently I've been multiple internships test .. so I can say there is opportunities but so is competition ... i try to learn different thing for different companies still only some of the students are getting any Good opportunity

Right now these day placements drives or going on i can say they are average I personally gave assessments for 3 companies although im not shortlisted for any of them , Maybe only 5-10 % get good placement

Fees and Financial Aid

So there is 25% off for Himalyan region state and extra scholarships on criteria of 12 Marks and JEE score ,Bus fee is compulsory to give for every student no matter you use it or not, some of my batch mates have Fee of 150000/sem because of no domicile

Campus Life

So there are multiple events organised by college one of the mist famous is Grafest ... during the Grafest its on every instafeed including people from delhi or Rajasthan.. many students come from different state to take admission in GEHU only because of events like Grafest

Admission

I choose this college because im from Dehradun and its the only college you will hear about most in Dehradun..also I didn't give JEE exam so I didn't have other options ... Its is said to be best college in Northern region

So there are like 300 faculty in Graphic Era most of them are really good but some of them are like they studies from GEHu then Did master and became faculty member ... But still some of faculty is really good and want good for you

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Specific aspects of the circullum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the computer science department as I love knowing about the computer and the efforts of making daily life problems easy and best thing is that if know how to use the computer well you can earn well enough of money in this world the world only cares about that you have money or not if have they will give you respect if don't have it they treat you like shit.

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
