Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses are very real world focused as almost every course has a project which is like 30% of overall marks and allows the students to put whatever they learned to practice. One improvement I would say is changing the flow of some of the courses for example there's a subject linear algebra in 1st semester then 2 semester has probability and statistics and then third has calculus, now probability and statistics isn't related to linear algebra at all but calculus is Highly dependent on that do students tends to forget whatever they learned in linear algebra till 3rd semester

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I don't really know about internship records and what company visited as I personally am not eligible for internship as it's just my 3rd semester right now so can't answer this question apologies for the same

Placement Experience

2.5

Students become eligible for campus placement in 3rd year. There were around 150-200 offers made, companies visited were meesho, Uniqlo etc The avg package is around 15 lpa and highest package is 49 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

4.5 lakh for first year 4.75 lakh for 2nd year 5 lakh for 3rd year 5.3 lakh for 4th year The few stays same for all students, there isn't any scholarship I know of but there are many schemes for example Uniqlo sponsors many students university charges and give them internship and placement opportunity and other schemes by college as well.

Campus Life

3.5

Esya : it is technical fest typically held in August Esummit: entrepreneurial fest typically held in march Odyssey: cultural fest typically held in January Books and journals are very accessible in our library. Classrooms are equipped with AC, projector mic and are varied in capacity from 600 to 30 depending on the need.

Admission

I got confirmed admission from DTU, nsut, some new IITs but i didn't opt for them because I felt like IIIT would be the best choice among them and I don't regret my choice. IIIT Delhi accepts JEE, DASA UCEED exams for admission, students mostly prefer JEE as almost all engineering enthusiasts give it and they get options to choose any branch in college after that is UCEED which is easier compared to jee and is design oriented and so one can only choose CSD branch and cannot upgrade in either and then comes DASA which is for international students

Faculty

3.5

There are around 150-200 faculty members and around 3000 students including PhD, MTech and BTech All the faculties are very approachable One of my favourite professor would be pravesh biyani as his classes are interesting, and he got on field experience afterall he and his team made Delhi bus digital ticket platform in this college itself. One of the professor i didn't like would be Sujay Deb as his classes were boring even though he had knowledge but he didn't share the knowledge properly. There are mainly 2 exams mid sem and end sem but professors can choose to have in class quizzes as they like to, some tests are easy some are hard depending on the course and professor.

We have to understand and go for training as per the direction of our enhanced cell guidance. Companies take a lot of things into account apart from scores and this is where it becomes inevitable for us to go for it. Top level companies are the ones that gets along and gives nearly 90% of the students.

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.
