Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because from childhood I fell very passionate about reading medicine. I think this is one of the novel profession to purse as it gives someone so much pleasure by treating ipl person..it opens a broader aspect to us to help the needy one . For first year we have 3 semester and one final exam...for 2nd/3rd& 4 th year 2 semester and one final exam for each year .

Internships Opportunities

5

For every medical college in west bengal one should do a compulsory 1 year internship for completing the mbbs course. After completing it he/she will get the final degree and after they they can work in any medical setup as a doctor

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid around 15000 as semester and admission fee for 1st year...for 2 nd year it's also the same . Hostel fees are very less (12/month).. Tuition fees depends on individual. No compulsory charge needed during the completion of course.

Campus Life

4.5

In medical college there are lot of fun and enjoyable things happen..like annual fest , academic fest some sports tournament etc. In Library of each medical college there are lots of books present to read .Each class rooms are very modernized with air conditioner, projectors etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility is very good here . We have college canteen, hostel mess and food quality is also good. One Can apply for hostel after admission and later on college counsil will provide the hostel as per vacancy and according to the students need it very most .

Admission

I got my college by State counseling procedure..and it was allotted to me according to my neet scorecard. For admission in medical college one have to pass NEET UG examination and should enter the college via state merit list .

Faculty

4

Our faculty to students ratio is as per needed. Most of our faculty are great teachers and doctors..they are very friendly and always helpful. Total mbbs course is of 5.5 yrs (4.5 yrs academic+1 yr internship) Total 9 semester and 4 professional examination are there .Each exam is obviously difficult to pass but if one read very sincerely it will be very easy . From each batch of every medical college some students get supply in their final students but later on they cleared that .Total no of fail students is tense to zero .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.
