The guidance in our college is good. More than 800 companies comes to our campus for placement
There is a team which handles the placement of students. And their training. They guide the students and train them for placement.
Infrastructure of our college is very good.

Dislikes

There is rule of 75 percent attendance which I don't like about my college.
They treat us like school students. And teachers become very srict for small mistakes also.
There is rule to wear a dress in our college for 2 days a week which I don't like.

It start from basic to tuff thats why I choose B.Tech course . I think curriculum follows by our college help students to achieve every aspect in there life.I think so college should use digital board rather than white board in the class rooms .The timing of exam is best from my perspective and the level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Internship with stipend provided by upstock,Microsoft and tcs in our college . There are many project which is given by these companise . Companies also provides offer letter if the student do best in give projects.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. More than 800+ companies visit our campus for placement some of the companies name are Microsoft, mahindra, TCS etc. The highest package of the campus is 54 lacs and average is 7.5 lacs There is 100 percent placement ratio in our college those who are eligible for placement. After getting degree my plan is to take good campus placement .

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for the B.tech course is 515200 . I have paid first semester with registration fee at the time of admission which was 66150. There is registration fee for each semester ptu examination. There is collaboration of our college and Axis Bank to provide loan to students with less interest. There are scholarships available in our college for students.

Campus Life

There are many technical and annual festivals celebrated in our college some of them are are freshers party which is held in the month of August, Parivartan festival which is held in the month of November, Engineering day celebrations, Teej celebrations and many more . There is a big library in college in which every types of book are available. The facilities is good in our college .There is projecter in every classroom. Our college organise many types of sport activities which is played by campus students . There is various club in our campus like lamit lub , kabbadi club , Rice department, DSW department and many others.

Admission

More than 800 company visit in the campus for placement. The fee for B.Tech course is less than other colleges. The average and highest package is very good in our college. No I don't get rejected from any college for which I have applied for. The student those who appeared for jee main can take admission here,the student those who gave ptu exam for the admission can take admission here and anyone who have given 12th final exam can also take direct admission here.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio in our college is 1:30 . One teacher for 30 students. DSA faculty is very good .., Ms. Megha Sharma tech us DSA see help us like mom in every problem weather it is personal or professional. There are 3 exams per semester in our college 2Mid term exam and third one is PTU the final paper .There is step marks given in exam . Questions which comes in exam are moderate.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
