Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite good enough no difference between computers science and information technology because both the course have same syllabus and nothing change in all the last four year in this college

Placement Experience

I am in first year so I don't know much more but yes placement is good but not so much according to me you have to be very skilled person and understand the sequence of company questions learn aptitude

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

the faculty is excellent and the teaching quality is very good. They also mention that the course curriculum is relevant and the exams are moderate. the hostel rooms are well-maintained and the campus is amazing. They also mention that the college organizes various festivals and functions. Total fee is 587000 including all 4 years

Campus Life

Campus life is very boring here just three buildings it's like school very small campus but facilities available here all I use to play cricket so there is no ground of their own but arranged a cricket tournament by college itself

Admission

I just gave wbjee examination board and then result came and after a month counseling started and there I registered myself in counseling from there I granted this college then I took admission in this college

Faculty

Very good relationship between facilities and students infact they are like friends to students and helped them a lot. Quite funny as well but never help to assignment and then everyone is stressed. Personally I didn't take any name.

Life of a BTech DT student studying in WBUAFS

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies including all the famous food and dairy industries and brands like AMUL, ITC, Keventers visit the university for recruiting the students at various posts. The highest starting package after completing graduation is 7 lakhs/annum and the average is 4-5 lakhs per annum. This can be increased to about 10-12 lakhs per annum after completion of post graduation and the average package also increases to 7-8 lakhs/ annum. The percentage of students getting placements is 100% My plan after getting the BTech degree in Dairy technology is opting for higher studies and completing post graduation.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students can sit for a placement. In our college or in our time we have limited companies.our college has invited 3 to 4 companies for placement. The highest package was- 7lakh/ annum. Avg package-3.5 lakh/annum, Percentage of students getting job -40% My plan for m.tech.

Remarks:

Positives of this college is mostly the fact that it is a functioning college. With labs and classrooms. The college has AC too. The DSC is also a big positive point. Negatives: the people, the redundant course, the initial 1.5 months of ragging.

I applied for other colleges like Narula institute of technology and Netaji Subhas Engineering College but I choose BP poddar institute of management and technology. The main reason for choosing the college is Low Fees and Good Faculties and very well environment. The admission process of this college occurs in many steps.
