The curriculum offers a wide range of topics in Botany and includes relevant and contemporary topics like plant biotechnology, microbiology, genetics, plant physiology, cell biology etc.

Research internship opportunities are offered where collaborations with renowned research institutions to work on projects like plant biotechnology, plant genomics, ecology and conservation are offered. Industry opportunities are also offered with stipend depending on the company

Fees and Financial Aid

I recently completed my Masters program from Christ University Bangalore and it was fantastic. I opted for Masters in Botany and it was an amazing experience. The course fees are 75000 per annum including admission fees. The faculty and staff are exceptional and experienced, well qualified.

Admission

I applied to a few other colleges like Amity University Noida etc. but I opted for Christ University as it is a well reputed university which has great reviews and it also had the course I was interested in. The university is also located in the hearts of the city which is very convenient and is also student friendly.

Faculty

Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:10, the relationship between faculty and the students is very professional: there's mentorship where faculty members guide and advise students in their academic and professional journeys. There is also research collaboration where the faculty and students may work together on a project. There are two main exams per semester, one called mid semester and the other end semester

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews
