Remarks

The college is very good and economical....it's one of the biggest constituent college of du having biggest library in DU.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

If you are really very interested for the activities then, of course, they do have the courses to offer but if you feel like there must be someone to drag you in just like school teachers used to then there is nothing you can do. Again the faculty is intellectual but it depends upon you how you want to gain the knowledge and how much you want to.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement cell is good but I didn’t do any internship through my placement cell. I did them through various online sites.

College Events

5

There are various events. Like Miss and Mr. College fresher, Farewell. Each department has its own departmental fest. We even have one college fest which usually lasts for two days. The departmental fest used to be fun as there used to be many activities and through them used to the money as a prize.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the college vary according to the course. Like for Maths Hons., it is 7k whereas for BA it is 5k. This is the fees for the complete year that is for two semesters. Along with this if you are not from NCR and gotta shift then you can opt for a PG or any flat in satya Niketan. Satya Niketan and Anand Niketan are pretty expensive and pretty loaded. You can even opt for Vasant Gaon it is cheaper than them. You can even ho for Naraina. But if you want hygienic rooms then may go to Anand Niketan.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any scholarship but yes college does provide scholarships for those who are from backward class or belonging to socially backward classes college also appreciates the students who perform well in academics.

Campus Life

3.5

I could not go to college much due to internships and work but the time I spent in college was amazing. I really mean it. I agree there might be some issues during the events but I still enjoyed everything around me. Boys are more than girls. Labs are well equipped and all the facilities are available for the students. There is a debating society which is amazing and they even take you to different contests to compete and learn more. Dance society also takes you to various competitions and there is a fashion society as well which is popular in the college. If you are fond of football then you will find it fabulous as we have a good team.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the college has many alumni and yes they helped students and motivated them to perform well in the respected fields through their support and speeches.

Admission

I Got admission through the cut-off. It was 5th cut off when I took the admission in here from another du college. The faculty was very supportive during the admission. That’s the main reason I got attracted to the college. I met them in the 4th cut off and they told me about everything I needed to know then. It was an amazing experience for me and I remember how happy I was on getting the admission in it.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is amazing but nobody is gonna force you for anything. It's your wish how you want to spend your college life. There will many assignments and internals and projects. You can go in the way you want. Teachers are very supportive in every way. If you need any help anytime you may ask them and they will never say no.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
