Course Curriculum Overview
My major subjects are english elective, political science and psychology. I have hons in psychology. The teachers of all these subjects have had been very helpful in all these years. The curriculum is up to date and helps u cover the base, basics,details and all the practical knowledge u need for the subject. The faculty tries to have engaging lessons with the whole class. The psychology syllabus can be updated a bit more and practicals as well can be updated to new and more recent ones.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yoy have to pay the fees a month before the classes start on the college dashboard for both the semesters. If we sum up fees for all six semesters it will be around 90 thousand. It includes all other fees but sometimes u have to guve 1-2k as examination and practical fees. Students can apply for scholarships on the basis of their economic background. They can also apply flr scholarships in PU and get funded by the university.
Campus Life
There are ni major psychology clubs in our college. So i was a part of english club. We had movie screenings, discussions on various novels,play and writers. Overall it was fun however we sure can have much more clubs and fests with the student strength of our college.
Admission
This college was closer to my home compared to the christ university which was in bangalore. The food there didn't suit me much. Also class hours and compulsory attendance are also less compared to christ. I found the faculty here more helpful and easy to approach.
Faculty
The faculty is really good at teaching. They are triendly and one can easily approach them in the class, staff room, after class and also some teachers even allow their students to call or text them anytime after the college hours if they have any doubt or need clarity on anything. They try to circulate updates regarding all the upcoming events in student groups so everyone stays updated.
