Curriculum in nice in my first year it was good but in further years it is more hectic and tiring College timings are 9 to 4:30 in which 1to 2 is your break. College conducts a lot of industrial visits which can helps to improve practical knowledge

Internships Opportunities

College gives you many opportunities for internship and it is compulsory for all to do an internship in 6th sem to improve you cv. There is a whole department to handle and provide intership to every student

Placement Experience

In final year you will get busy for placement your whole final year companies will come for placement and select students companies that offen comes in cgc are wipro, Microsoft etc avarage package is 6 lacks per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

For my course which is ece the fees is 60500 rs per sem and if taking hostel then there are 4 option by which you can select Ac/nonAc. 2-3-4 beds I am in 3 seater centralised Ac hostel and its fees is around 65000 per sem

Campus Life

If i talk about my campus life its great and a lot of technical non technical cultural events are help through the year approx 5-6 events are conducted in a months. Our college major event is parivartan which is held for 2 days. 2 days full of fun and joy

Hostel Facilities

There are 5 different hostel each with different facilities if i tell about my hostel which is 3 seater so there are 3 beds with 3 study table and chair 3 normal size almirah with balcony and centralised Ac washrooms are clean and meal quality is good

Admission

So when i was searching for a college i went through a lot of colleges but i choosed cgc as it gives you a government degree which is from ptu that helps a lot and secondly i wanted a college which is not so far from my home

Faculty

Faculty is great when i was in first year and dont know anything in this college faculty and senior helped me a lot. And if we take about exams then there will be 2 mid sem exams MST-1 and MST-2 then there will be end sem exam conducted by ptu both the mst are of 24 marks. On there basis the internals will be given

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa .
