What Students Say

Likes

I like it's subjects for practical knowledge and little bit of theory knowledge.
The seminars are good to be parcipate and engage.
The Hackethon they conduct to increase the students practical knowledge.

Dislikes

The campus is too small . Their is no playground in the campus.
The faculties's attitude towards students is too bad.
Not the deep learning of any subjects is missing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The coarse is relevance but the issue is their depth or details. The coarse is not in detail . Only few topics are covered in above portion that's it. There is not more subject or future related subjects in the circulation

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Wipro Capegemi Infosys Land T limited Deltax Josh technologies And many more comes The one is principal global this company provide us the internship with stipend for 4 months . This is similar to Wipro and Infosys too.

Placement Experience

The placement is good as compare to other colleges. The companies like Infosys, Land T, Accenture, Wipro, DeltaX, Capgemini comes in regular basis. the companies comes and get the students as per their need

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is different for different streams. It also changes in caste wise also as SC caste has higher scholarship. For mine it's 96000 in first year and then it's gradually Changes . In second year its 86000 .

My overall experience is good and bad both . Cause I am not engaging in the club activities I foucs on technology learning and project development. The good experience I can say by considering all the aspects

Admission

I was selected in CAP round .On the basis of my JEE and MHTCET score . I got selected for CSE seat and that time I want it because of the demand. And I already had plan to get either CSE or IT or AI domain

Faculty

The exam is taken as 3 exams in each semester. Their is 2 CAE i.e.class assesment exam is of 15 marks. The passing marks is 8+. The next is ESE end sem exam of 50 marks .here the passing marks is 32 marks ..

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
