Likes

There are so many labs if you are from computer science background, but those lab have some system issues like they are from old technology
is not that good in this college because it is like a school only. It has not good.
Faculty is good in all aspect And they teach is well

Dislikes

There is some library teachers who are not that good. They act like they are very big and there is some teachers which I think they are above the college. I like dislike that
Games are not available in this college. Some games are there like shooting or table tennis, but their teams are not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to code, so I choose that course like BTech computer science and in real world application, there are so many application of computer science like everything work on computer science aspects, curriculum of the course is good according to the companies which will come and timing and frequency of exam are that in every semester, there will be two exam, one midterm and one and 10

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 2, lakh fees yearly and on that I get discount of 10% Fees and all other extra charges which we have to give at the admission time and there is so many scholarships depend upon which course and how you get the number in your boards. If your number is above 75%, then you will get some scholarships and there is domicile scholarship, also which only those person will get whose from Uttarakhand all or other himalayan region

Campus Life

Infrastructure of this college is not that good, but clubs are so many in this college like there is club of coding E sports, any other games and they organise competition regularly. Interaction between seniors and juniors are also there and it can only happen through club joining if you are only for studying, so you will not able to interact with

Admission

I tried for IITs and IITs, but I was not able to get those so I prefer to join a college which is far from me and my home, so I come here and it's views like it is from Dehradun. So views are very best, and I think placement is good in this college at the end. What matters is your skills?

Faculty

in my first year teachers were good and like I am from computer science stream, so it's teacher was also good, but after second year, some teachers are good or not, and some teachers are very bad. They think they are above the college and they don't want to teach in labs. They sit only.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

The review from heart

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
