Course Curriculum Overview
The course gives us some what practical knowledge and also theoretical knowledge about what we have to deal with in future if we go on with this stream further. Also the exams are conducted on semester basis but there are monthly exams checking the average performance and marking the internals.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not offers any internships officially but it does offers some unofficial internships for the students who are interested to participate. Also many seminars are held frequently for the students and their development.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees of my course is around 36000 but adding extra charges it sums upto 40000 and it is quite okay as the college being a government college. Also some kind of scholarships are there but I haven't availed any of them yet. The admission is done on merit basis and students only who scored above 80% in their 12th board exams are admitted in the college.
Campus Life
The campus life is damn good if you have the friends as same of your vibe. Also the college gives us opportunities to participate in various activities like dance, sports, clubs and societies. You'll just need to explore the things
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are of 2 types one with ACs and ones without ACs . The AC block is very well maintained and the rooms there are very spacious. But the rooms without AC are very small and also very congested. The food in the mess is okayish to have as not same as we get at home but the quality is quite acceptable. There are many pgs around college and you can get them easily
Admission
Mcm DAV college of women, Chandigarh is the best college as affiliated by panjab university. The study here is the best and the students score greatly overall. But apart from this the college life is a bit dull as compared to other colleges as it being a women college
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very nice and the teachers are very highly qualified. Almost all the teachers are qualified with a PhD. Apart from this the structure of my course is average and can be studied by giving it time day to day. Not that much of a difficult the subjects are. The marking scheme is a bit disappointing as they do not give up full marks no matter how accurate the answer is.
