Stats hons curriculum was so nice poised as well as practicals application of the respective subjects and research project were also conducted, presentation on projects , teachers were teaching on PPT and used different methods to teach, semester exams and in between tests were also conducted

Campus Life

Departmental fest, college fest were organised all around the year, with students participated in workshops and many societies events, sports weeks were also organised once in a year,clubs provide good network building

I have applied to PGDAV college in which I got admission in BSC mathematical sciences, so was looking for upgrade got in BSC stats hons, ramanujan, 91 % i got admission in OBC NCL category through merit based, now it is CUET based

Faculty

Faculty student relationship was good, our department has 7 teachers,teaching different subjects as well as practicals subjects,so our batch was of size 50, Statistical inference, sampling distribution, Algebra teachers were nice as well time series and design of experiments teachers was best

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
