Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose Electrical Engineering, because it had a large scope for future settlement The course is fun overall, the laboratory practices and the environment is good There is too much stress and pressure during the study, a lesser stressful environment helps The exams are held twice per year, that is 2 semesters. The difficulty level is moderate to hard

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid Rs 14500 course fees per year There is a payment of Rs. 2500 for technician fees...we also pay for departmental occassions or events ...overall the teaching is good but the department maintenance is very poor

Campus Life

2.5

The annual festival Technisia is held around last week of March There are books available as per mentioned by the faculties but there should have been a little more The facilities are good, electrical board and projectors, except for lighting systems. There is departmental sports and the sports area is well developed except for the volleyball There is only NSS members

Admission

I applied for AEC and JEC too...but I got preference on electrical engineering in this college There was room for upgrades but there was no vacancies in that branch due to which....although my rank was good i didn't,t get admission in other colleges The admission in the college is through CEE exams...there is a decent cutoff required to get admission there, and it changes with time.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty to studentratio is 7:32, relationship overall is not good...there are some faculties who doesn't,t even heed to ur words...if u go to them with ur problems...they will give u 10 more...u can,t even approach them let alone solve ur issues I can,t name them for some personal issues...but there are 2 to 3 faculties that are good...others....mehhhh! The exams are easy....but maximum of the students don,t pass...the students are passed and failed on the basis of how they are in the faculty,s eyes....no matter how much effort u give....if once u became bad in a faculty,s eyes....u are done...it,s better to give up B.Tech

Not good at all placements. Worst placement college that is ever been. They couldn't get companies coming to this college after such long times. The only companies which comes gives packeges as low as 200000 per annum. which is worst in these present times.

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.
