The college environment is good. Teachers are helpfull
Classes are on time. They help with the projects.
Fest is good.. We have tech fest technisia.

Dislikes

College is far away from main town. Since we had no hostel. We lived in town.
Campus should be inprove a lot. Girls hostel is under construction.

Course Curriculum Overview

Many seminars and other programs are organise in college. There are many program and competition like bridge making, desiginging, poster making, slogan writing etc. Competition are held. Exam level is moderate. Teaching is done in smart classrooms too. You can solve you doubts by easily meet your faculty.

Internships Opportunities

You can get internship in AIRPORT Authority of India, PwD, railways, NRL, OIl india limited, Cenent companies, and software comapnies, Also many training programs are held in the colleges. As mahindra smart classes etc.

Placement Experience

Placement is moderate. Some good compaines like NRL, And construction companies, software companies come to hire . But it should be improve day by day as this is the finest engineering college in lower part of ASSAM

Fees and Financial Aid

The per annum fees is 18k per year. The exam fees is extra.. Aprrox 2-3k per semester. You can obtain fee relaxation if you are govt BPL card holder. And you can get NSP scholarship if you are from Assam.

Campus Life

Campus is under construction in this tine also and need to improve. Many tech fest, freshman social , college week, hostel league, department league, farewell functions are held every year. Also so memorial trophies games are also held.

Admission

I appered for CEE exam in 2019. By that time in counseling i got civil engineering in here. Thats why i choose this college. I got other dept in other colleges but was not interested as i am always interested in this dept only

Faculty

Faculties are good. There are some permanent faculty and lots of contractual faculties. Course is of 4 year course. Exam is conducted By Assam science and technology university. And every year 2 semester exams held.

A complete guide if u are opting for Barak valley engineering college.

Placement Experience:

Not good at all placements. Worst placement college that is ever been. They couldn't get companies coming to this college after such long times. The only companies which comes gives packeges as low as 200000 per annum. which is worst in these present times.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Students can participate in interviews, written tests, and other selection processes during this time 8th Semester: The placement process continues into the 8th semester, and students may have additional opportunities to secure job offers from various companies 2) Many reputed companies such as swiggy, Amazon Microsoft google etc come to our campus. 3) As per the 2022 reports average package in my branch is 12.28 LPA and highest package is 52.8LPA. 4) As per 2022 reports an approximate percentage of 89 got placed in my branch. 5) My plans are to prepare for railway entrance jobs.

Placement Experience:

Our college has one of the best placement record in India From 7th semester you can apply for placements and there is cpi cap for attending some interviews The highest package in the year 2023 is 2.4 crores and lowest was 5.2 lakh Avg package is around 21.15 lakh which was amazing As expected of a teir 1 college Many tech gaints like Amazon, IBM , Microsoft etc visited for recruitment Around 639 jobs were offered Many different roles and profiles were offered in these placement recruitments like Software Development Engineer, Member Technical Staff, Design , R&D, Developers, Data Science,Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Analyst,Graduate Engineer Trainee, Post Graduate Trainee, Technical Executive etc... Overall 83.09% of btech and bdes students were placed in 2023 I want to do MBA in any IIM

1)Students become elgible from 3rd year for Pre-Placaemnt offer and and mostley placed by 4th year. 2)in tech field , all top MNCs come in thsi college including GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, AMAZON,NETFLIX and makes enough offer to pick up every CS student from campous. 3) Last year Highest package by 2Cr by a CS M.tech student from M.tech from UBER and everage is avout 30L for CS and little low for other Branches. 4)approx 90% placement and rest 10% are those who goes for highter studies and Civil servies 5)I will try to grab best placement out of all in IT sector only.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

The other colleges I applied for are aec, jec, jist, tezpur university, nits. I couldn't qualify for jee so I did get into tezpur university or nits. My rank wasn't that high in cee so I could not get a seat in AEC and JEC.
