The curriculum is not futuristic. Teaching method should be changed to practical sessions rather than oral class and writing notes and remembering it and writing in the answer script. In the tech world there is no room for that we should have practical knowledge. The exams should include coding papers as lab exams rather than written exams. The timing should be correct 6 months between each semesters rather than just 4 months. The students should get good placement training and placement assistance, Internships are a really good oppurtunity to get practical knowlege but me curriculum shows more intrest in writing exams .

From the 6th semesters companies tends to hire us. In my class around 20 students were hired from 55 in total. Companies like Qburst, TCS, Litmus7, UST, Clockhash visited our college . Most of us got hired from interviews attened in other college and mass hiring areas . I would say 7 got placement from out college placment cell. The average package was 450000 per year offered by UST and 3 of them got the job. I got placed in TCS with 348000 per year package thought the NQT examination which was held on TVM i believe. It was not though my college placement cell. I got to know about it though linkedin and from one of my friend and applied for it and got it. 12% stundents actually got placed in my college. But in case of my seniors i think it is around 60% . At that time placements were alse really good about 500000 was average and highest was around 800000 per annum

So in my case the overall fees for an year was around 32000 ruppes since i was under the merit seat. I believe for management seat it was around 64000 ruppes. There were some scholarship oppurtunities available but for me since my mother was a govt school teacher i hadn't received any scholarships. My friend who was around 9000 in keam rank didn't had to pay any money as fees . PTA fund is around 7000 ruppes . Then placement training fund is around 5000 ruppes. Caution deposit is 5000 ruppes from which we will only get back 4000 that too after almost a year after college is over 1000 will go to the alumini fund. I dont think there are any other fees other than the exams fees which vary in each semesters.

The techfest held in my college was called Daksha . It was really good. It was held year. There is our instagram page were there is detials of our Daksha. There are a lot of books available in the library we can take 2 books at a time the return time is around 10 days if we want it for more than that we should come back and re register after 10 days. In the class rooms there were fans and projector .In most class benches were damaged and projectors were not working. Sports and other extracurricular activites only after college hours not before that. We can stay in the college upto 7pm for sports and other extracurricular activies. We had a only one student party which was SFI since there were no other parties in the college it was calm and we also didnt had any issues with SFI. But in other colleges there were constant fights in campuss in terms of party.

I applied to TKM engineering college, CET ,and some govt colleges also got admission in Marian engineering college TVM. Since it was a private college i wasnt intrested in that since i studied in a govt school. In Marian they offered me full scholarship since i got 96% in my plus two exams. I choose this college instead of the others was since 2 of my friends jonied here and i heard since it is a semi govt college i would get more freedom and at that time it offered good placements too . I did not get seat in govt colleges near me since i had a rank of 14878 so i did not get admission for computer science. I didnt wait for more allotments so i joined this college.Admmision process in my college include PTA fund of 7000 causion deposit of 5000 then need to submit my TC from school , both SSLC and Plus two certificates then Non creamy layer certificate,income certificate , aadhar also i believe. The fees structure was 32000 per year. I think i paid the full fees some time after i joined.

The teachers where really friendly . Some taught really well whereas some were really bad. But in my class all the students really liked most of the teachers. Some of the teachers where Remya miss ,Suma miss , Shijina miss ,Arya miss , Meenu miss ,Syama miss these teachers were really good , they taught really well and also were really friendly. Some teachers were not upto expectations where Lekshmikanth sir i believe he had a screw loose. Leena miss was terror in the 2nd year time but when we reach 4th year she was also good. I should say all where really good none of them seemed to cause issues for us. In terms of exams in each semester we had 2 series exams of 50 marks for one and half hours with mostly 2 modules each . It wasnt really a problem for us but in some cases since time was very little we had to complete some portions really fast those time it were difficult. series exams most of them will pass and some who doest study at all fails.In the sem exams mostly 50% used to fail
