Fees is affordable as it a government run engineering college
Faculty is well experienced and also some faculty are from IIT Guwahati,IIT Rookie,nits etc
Friends cycle is also good in this college

Dislikes

Water supply in the college is very poor
Bathroom are very dirty and no water available
Infrastructure is not good as it is under construction

Course Curriculum Overview

Post curriculum of the mechanical engineering is good. They are internship and programs are hold by college. Territory internship program in 4 years of mechanical engineering branch. Cheap plantation around the college the main curriculum in the college.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no Scholarship provided by the college. Most of this scholarship are provided by the national scholarship portal.Yearly fees is Rs-14500 its included bus fees,lab fees etc. ,exam fees of Rs-2500 and here technical fest is also conducted its name is Technisia for this fest we have paid Rs-2000.

Campus Life

Overall experience in the campus is not good . The campus is under development. There are lack of greenery in the campus in the parking is also one of the overall Camper experience is made by us. That is all

Hostel Facilities

As it has only 1 boys hostel as of now. Campus Hostel has started from last year 2023 as it is a large hostel.1 common message facility purifying water available. Breakfast ,lunch, evening tea,dinner provided.rooms are very clean single room are available

Hostel Fee: INR 16400 per year

Admission

They know option to choose other colleges because they are an entrance exam hold by Assam government. Based on the rank provided by the government is the final in last college chance. Admission is also very easy day appointed allotment letter from the college and submitted is your admission is done

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are good till now. Most of them are PhD holders. They are all supported towards the students and practical knowledge exam system is the most relative the system in the college there are three exam hold before the semester.

A complete guide if u are opting for Barak valley engineering college.

Placement Experience:

Not good at all placements. Worst placement college that is ever been. They couldn't get companies coming to this college after such long times. The only companies which comes gives packeges as low as 200000 per annum. which is worst in these present times.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Students can participate in interviews, written tests, and other selection processes during this time 8th Semester: The placement process continues into the 8th semester, and students may have additional opportunities to secure job offers from various companies 2) Many reputed companies such as swiggy, Amazon Microsoft google etc come to our campus. 3) As per the 2022 reports average package in my branch is 12.28 LPA and highest package is 52.8LPA. 4) As per 2022 reports an approximate percentage of 89 got placed in my branch. 5) My plans are to prepare for railway entrance jobs.

Placement Experience:

Our college has one of the best placement record in India From 7th semester you can apply for placements and there is cpi cap for attending some interviews The highest package in the year 2023 is 2.4 crores and lowest was 5.2 lakh Avg package is around 21.15 lakh which was amazing As expected of a teir 1 college Many tech gaints like Amazon, IBM , Microsoft etc visited for recruitment Around 639 jobs were offered Many different roles and profiles were offered in these placement recruitments like Software Development Engineer, Member Technical Staff, Design , R&D, Developers, Data Science,Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Analyst,Graduate Engineer Trainee, Post Graduate Trainee, Technical Executive etc... Overall 83.09% of btech and bdes students were placed in 2023 I want to do MBA in any IIM

Placement Experience:

1)Students become elgible from 3rd year for Pre-Placaemnt offer and and mostley placed by 4th year. 2)in tech field , all top MNCs come in thsi college including GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, AMAZON,NETFLIX and makes enough offer to pick up every CS student from campous. 3) Last year Highest package by 2Cr by a CS M.tech student from M.tech from UBER and everage is avout 30L for CS and little low for other Branches. 4)approx 90% placement and rest 10% are those who goes for highter studies and Civil servies 5)I will try to grab best placement out of all in IT sector only.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

The other colleges I applied for are aec, jec, jist, tezpur university, nits. I couldn't qualify for jee so I did get into tezpur university or nits. My rank wasn't that high in cee so I could not get a seat in AEC and JEC.
