Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum, since the campus is autonomous we have our own syllabus and it's said that we have the best syllabus among other colleges and I felt so as well. They also provide future ready projects, mentorship etc

Internships Opportunities

3

We have a special place here called the TBI. It's the first college in Kerala to get the business incubator. So we have our own aluminies doing startups there and we can do our internships there and even get paid. Not just that we can also apply for internships outside.

Placement Experience

4

Yes placements do occur in college and it mainly happens on the last 2 semesters but most of the companies fail to visit the campus because there won't be many students with 8.5 and abov cgpa but the management is now looking forward to a new idea where they are gonna make give the companies projects done by a few students and make them come get the students. They gonna start implementing it this year they said

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for my AI and Data Science course at AJCE College, Kottayam, is a fixed 100,500 rupees. All though at the time of admission i paid around 1,28,000 including caution deposit, admission fees etc. This fee remains consistent throughout the duration of the program and has not undergone any increases. It encompasses all necessary charges, including tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, and lab fees. I am aware that this fee structure applies to all categories of students except for Catholics, but I do not have information regarding their specific fees.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is amazing there are various programs conducted in the campus including a really popular one called azure where a few celebrities visit the campus for special Concerts and all. And there are various clubs where students can participate in.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is nice and clean but the toilets are no good. Most of the doors have no lock and there is no single soap or handwash present in them and im talking about boys toilets, not sure about girls. I have a 3 person room but there are other rooms present as well. There are even rooms with bathrooms attached. I'm planning to move in to attached room next year. The wifi is also terrible.

Admission

I got this college in merit from KEAM examination which is the kerala entrance and medical examination and yes I had given other colleges, mainly government, for allotment but my rank was a bit low so i couldn't make it to the top government colleges. But still I'm way happier here

Faculty

4

Id say the boys to girls ratio are about 3:2 in my branch and yes the faculty is amazing and they have lots of work experience. There are exams at the end of every sem and yes some students do fail. But I can't really blame the teachers for it since it's just the fact that some students don't study at all.

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
