Course Curriculum Overview
again I cannot comment much on this because we have only just started our classes. but the teachers so far seem to be very diligent and cautious and detailed in explaining the concepts to us. so it is good so far
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
the year wise fees I will be paying for BSC psychology degree (3 years) is 2 lakhs per year. there is a choice of opting for 4th year, if you meet eligibility criteria, which will provide you a bsc psychology honours degree, for which details will be given later on. the jain University has two hostels, new campus and old campus with double and triple sharing rooms, with a price of around 180000-220000 lakh per annum. application fees is around 750/- and registration fee is 50,000. provisional admission seat confirmation fees is 25,000. there is a partnership from the college with liquiloans for easier payment.
Campus Life
campus life is very good for me. we have month long orientation sessions, fests, events, internships, discussions, treasure hunts, engaging and interactive classrooms, etc. we also have a canteen which has very good quality food at very reasonable and affordable prices.
Hostel Facilities
hostel life and facility is very very amazing. i have a three sharing room which is spacious, well lighted, with comfortable beds and tables and desks for studying. it has a big window with a beautiful view and a good ambience. the food is given timely, and is very amazing. we have a lot of variety and a lot of options in food, with the occasional pasta and burger too. there's a cooking room with refrigerator and stove and a microwave and water cooler with hot cold and normal water always available. also provided with laundry and drier machines.
Admission
i applied to colleges like SRM, IILM, Amity, shoolini uni, delhi University, bhu etc. i could not get into du because of the high psychology cut offs. i chose this university over others i got confirmed seats from( Amity, SRM, iilm) because it provides a bsc in psychology and also I was very impressed by the practical exposure and internship opportunities they provide. also banglore is an amazing city for students.
Faculty
not sure about this right now as we have only just started our courses and haven't recieved the full information yet. cannot comment on difficulty but we have a structure where class participation and being all rounded is as important as getting marks.
