Likes

I like the my College 's infrastructure there is proper labs , class rooms , auditorium, lawns , amphitheatre, wide lawns , sports complex, Gym
I like the environment . There is greenery everywhere. There is fresh air , with proper water supply and wide classroom.And library is fully equipped with Ac .and there is calm environment to study properly.
I like the faculty how they behave, respond to our queries .And there is mantor mantee programs where professor's asked students about there any type of queries like if any in their personal life.

Dislikes

There is no proper network connection in the campus
There is no proper wifi and students faces issue
Canteen area there is not much sufficient infra of the canteen

I choose zoology hons because I have interest in Animals and I curious about to study about animals . So that's why I choose Zoology. And yeah after adopting this course, it increases my knowledge about Animals surely. And one suggestion is there must b some practical sessions about to know animal's anatomy so that a student can get it better.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in My 1st year is around 16000 something. And it is not same same for the rest two year. In the second year it is increasing 1k and in the Final year fees is upto 18800 something. And this amount I paid is tuition fees and the Examination fees we have to pay along with examination form semester wise . For the science courses it is upto 1500 and for the art courses it is upto 800 - 900 . And there is no reservations in the fees. All the students of any category have to pay the same fee. There is no such rules regarding concession in fees for any category despite of PWD .

My social life is very improved in college there is proper society in the college like music , dancing, arts ,drama , etc which we can improve our extra curricular and buildup interest in other things than study

Admission

I get this college in first cut off. And I have cleared the cut off 's of all other colleges of DU but I choose My college over other colleges because I get to know from my seniors about this college about it's faculty , infrastructure,etc.

The faculty members of my department are just so awesome. The cover their syllabus in the given course time .they guide us in every situation.they sare so supportive. They take test time to time , proper presentation. They guide students in the mentor mantee programs. The exam scheme is semester wise.there is 6 semester in 3 year course.two semester in one year . So there is exam after a semester is completed, about in 6 month's one semester is completeed

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
