Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good but the adaptation of today's trend and advancement and technology is nil in college still with the book and with older books and knowledge is not advancement and still there is a need to adopt various thingsssss

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 130000 per year including the KCET fee and the college fee everything sum up to this amount with yearly increase and for the sc and st quotas the same thing but the scholarships have been sanctioned and they are to be paid around 50-70 thousand yearly for payment fee the donation is approached 5 lakh and yearly 2.75 lakh students get scholarships such as SSP and NSP but this year it is not yet sanctioned

The campus life is not that great the college is total strict and infrastructure is not great and the college need to be student friendly and encourage in all the fields and developments in sports and other aspects

Admission

I applied for SJCE and NIE but due to the cutoff of college was too less and due to preference order I got MITM due to this preference order admission is done through Kcet comedk and payment or donation

Faculty

Faculty is pretty nice except some of them but for attendance the fee is collected if not maintained my favourite Tanusha maam and there are two sems in a year and with two Internals and lab exams are conducted

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year
