Likes

There are a lot of things to explore in your life
Every year 3-4 big fests are held and every months small events was held for betterment of clg life
Faculty is experience although in b.tech department most of the faculty was IITians or has a good rank in gate or net . No 75% attendance criteria

Dislikes

The placement cell is not active most of the professional courses like b.tech ,b.pharma,mca etc

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the questions in exams are pyqs of university questions paper. The aspect that attracted me was no 75% attendance needed. The university needs improvement in placement cells which were not working after corona pandemic.

Some IT companies come to the campus, but not a single non-technical company has come to Campus. You are eligible in the 7th sem for placement. You can go for off-campus placement for the job. It is needed you have some contacts and the company that visits campus has a demand for 3 months internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The First-year B.Tech fees were 27980rs (Rs.5000) was refunded after you complete your degree and the 980 is the campus charges while the 22000 rs. was tution fees and every sem you pay exam fees which is 900rs for admit card.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is good and the management of the infrastructure is also good according to other central universities but there is no club in the university you have a great social life here. Every year annual sports meet is held in the month of November.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are fewer for boys but girls have full opportunities to get a hostel. The hostel criteria is the 12th % or ug% for the allotment. Rents are something 6500rs for an annum and 3500rs for a month to food.

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Admission

Its have low fees and high life exploring opportunities in the mountains and a better education for IITians. You may go on a group trip with your batchmates and there is no mid-semester in universities. The lab is functioning in the ECE department. You would get admission by cuet exam which needs PCM only.

Faculty

The marking scheme is very low in Frist three years but last year they gave you good marks for a better overall cgpa on a degree But some faculty were good they gave good internal marks for the help of a student.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Life around Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

I've applied for Btech course in Benaras Hindu University. But before the counselling result declared I've already taken admission in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttrakhand.
