- Some academics issues like some courses which doesn't even relate to the field are also included in the curriculum.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are relevent and industry oriented and also taught like in industry usage. Some new courses are also introduced in every branch like AL/ML , Data Science and many more . Professors use ppt to teach and gives assignment and then we have two sessions of exam in every semester, mid term exams and the end term exams. Exams are quite good in terms of difficulty level and one has to complete all his assignments and most of the topics taught in the classroom to clear the exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of comapnies visiting the campus in the 3rd year during semester 1 , they take up their recruitment test and shortlist the candidates for the interviews. After someone clears the interview then he/she get an intern. Most of the giants visit the campus like google , amazon , samsung, qualcomm, nvidia,and many more.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are quite good in the campus , companies visit campus twice one in the end of the first semester and second in the month of march. Most of the students get placed in the campus and those who not have a chance to apply for offcampus. I am also looking for the placement in the campus as well and trying to be placed in a decent company with decent job profile.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is different fee for both semester in a year like the first semester has more fee compared to the second one . The first semester has fee around 1.5 lakhs and the second one has around 1.3-1.4 Lakhs . In the total fee per semester 1Lakhs is the tution fee, 5000 is the hostel charges, 25000 is the mess charges and rest they take as some maintainence charges and medical insurance. For the general category, EWS and OBC category students have to pay the complete fee whereas for the SC/ST candidates the tution fee is waived off, hence their total fee per semester comes out to be around 40K-50K. Our institute provide scholarships as well, for ex:- Merit cum Fee waiver is given to those whose family income is less than 5 lakhs , in which one-third of the tuition fee is waived off. Some other scholarships also be given on the basis of merit .
Campus Life
The campus is good and there are a lot of clubs run by students itself inculding both cultural and technical. There are a total of 4 fest in a year in our college . THOMSO the annual cultural fest, COGNIZANCE the techfest, SANGRAM the sports fest and ESUMMIT the business and entreuprenership fest. Library is quite big and had a lot of books to study, also it is fully air conditioned . The classrooms are also very good and equipped with projectors and completely air conditioned. There are a lot of sports facilities available in the campus in each and every sport.
Hostel Facilities
There are alot of hostels called bhawans for each year. There are 3 girls hostel and 7-8 boys hostel. In each room we have study table and chair with almirah. The first year and second year students gets double occupency rooms where as the third year and the final year students gets single room. There are a total of 3 meals in a day offered by the mess. The food quality is decent.
Admission
The environment , the people around and the faculty makes our college really a very good in most of the aspects. The most intelligent and brilliant people from all over the country comes and the environment they build is unmatchable. Also the alumni base of the college is very huge as the college is more than 150 years old. For the admission one has to first clear JEE MAINS and then after qualifying for the JEE ADVANCED one has to clear it and also secure a rank.
Faculty
There are a lot of faculty of members and brilliant professors, expert in their respective field. The professors are very helpful and always ready to help in academics and in non academics also. There are two sessions of exam in a semester, one is the mid-term examination and other one is the end-term examination.The difficulty level is quite good in each and every exam and it also depends on the professor who is designing the exam. Most of the students clear the examination. The course is relevant and industry oriented as many new courses are also introduced in different branches like AL/ML , Data Science , Management and many more.
