My experience of mcm dav college

The college curriculum is very good. The curriculum does prepare students for real world problems and teaches them how to face them. The frequency and timings of exams is perfect and very much suitable to all the students

The fees in this college is reasonable according to the opportunities and advanced study they provide. The fees for one semester for bachelor of arts is 30,000. There are also many workshops organised for students and various college clubs to join. Students also get scholarship and categories like sc, st also get concession in their fees

The mcm dav college organise various events such as youth festival, freshers party, hawan, dj parties, yoga fests, art fests, dance, modelling etc. There are various clubs in the college students can choose the group of their choice and be a part of it. These groups impact students in a very positive manner as they get exposure to new topics, new environment, new students, students get to interact with everybody and also conduct fests or workshop related to their club. The sports and extracurricular activities offered by the college is also amazing. Their are various sports team of mcm dav college

I also applied to other colleges which are A) post graduate government college of chandigarh -42 B) post graduate government college of chandigarh - 11 But i choose meharchand mahagan dav college over them is that mcm dav college offered vast variety of subject combinations compared to the other colleges which i found very good because as a student I have more options to explore. Mcm dav college offered much better exposure to students in terms of studies, extra curriculum activities, fests, workshops etc. the teachers in mcm dav college are much more experienced and cooperative in this college. The admission process is merit list based. We can also give cuet exams. Admission process is online and offline also, according to our convenience we can get admission from any of the mode

The faculty of the college is very approachable, friendly, cooperative and understanding. The college faculty listens and understands the problems of students and try to solve it as soon as possible. Each and every faculty of the college is very good. They are doing a commendable job. One semester is of six months. Every semester there are two exams MST which is the exam conducted by the college and final semester exams which Is conducted by punjab university to which mcm dav college is affiliated. Exams are usually competitive but the teachers take regular classes so all the concepts gets cleared very well and before exams teachers revise each and every topic to make students more clear. The curriculum is amazing
