Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen mathematics for myself and no doubt this is a very good subject and and also it is from science stream so no doubt it is scoring subject also. If I talking about the difficulty level then I will say that it will be depend on how the student will spend their time on the subject.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For every semester I have to pay Rs.1200-2000 for admission and exam fees is not included in it.As I belong to general category so I do no get any type of special scholarship. I am Economically week. I have a EWS certificate as prove

Campus Life

I will definitely agree that my college is highly involved in every festival in every month in our college there will be at least one program. In the second point availability of books in library obviously I have mention that in light section that our college have a great collection of books. And I will also mention that are college is fully plastic free and anti ragging. So everyone can see the good impact in student life

Admission

I have choose and this college because obviously this is my local college and do I got a chance from Burdwan Raj College and and many other college under the Burdwan University but I not take the admission in Aadhar college because if I will take the admission in other college then I have to travel for my attendance in the college. As a katwa college is my local college so I have not to travel for many times to do our do my department tell classes

Faculty

In our college the faculty number is Low but who is Faculty is present are very friendly and have very good relationship between us. Mostly I like DG sir and KJ sir specially for their friendly behaviour. The exams will be of 75 numbers 60 is for written and 15 for internal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

Besides Katwa College I have also applied for Kandi Raj College. I got confirmed by the college but there was a small issue with the distance and transport If I got admitted to Kandi Raj College so I would have to take buses or Rickshaws and for my current college I just take train. There are both positive and negative remarks about our college. The teachers are very helpful. The infrastructure is quite not bad. The communication and transport is also good.
