Remarks
There are both positive and negative remarks about our college. The teachers are very helpful. The infrastructure is quite not bad. The communication and transport is also good. Library, lab, sports, canteen all facility is there. But the negative side is little and that is there are some irregularities with the exmas and results. But it's not the college's fault because those are controlled by the University.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually the exam helds under The university of Burdwan. If you are a student of this college you have to go to other mentioned college for final exams. Internal are takes in this college as well. And the infrastructure for examination in this college is good.
Placement Experience
As other BU affiliated college it is also same it does not offers job. And in the degree course there is no internship. There are the facility of other things like NCC and also B.Ed. And there is no perticular stipend you can get the scholarship which is issued by WB or Central Govt. But if your economical condition is not well then those student can apply for concession for admission and others.
College Events
There are several things there which is celebrated in our college. Every yr fresher's , farewell, college fest are common. Sarawsati puja is a great festival in our college. And many educational seminars are held during the year for different subjects and different topics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is not much expensive. The admission fee is around 3K and other examination fee are also in between 2or 3K. Any students can afford this. And if there is someone who couldn't afford it there are concession for them where they can manage it at a certain low cost.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I mentioned before there are no scholarship offers by the college. You can take scholarship which is offered by WB and central Govt. There are consession for economically low students. And in case of educational tour there is a amount of money which is offered by the college but the amount is dependent of subject and topic.
Campus Life
To be honest the sports facility is very good. As well as indoor and outdoor games. Carom, chess ,table tennis etc indoor games are available at indoor stadium. And Cricket is the most popular outdoor game here. Every year there are many cricket matches helds among several department even in between several colleges. The labs are good but I think there need some upgradation for better.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good in condition. There are different hostel for boys and girls. You have to fill te form for hostel and will admit to it. The monthly fee of hostel is remarkbly low. And also folding facility is available.
Alumni/Alumna
Actually all the students are friendly here. I am a passout student I till now I goes to college several time to meet up with our teachers and Junior students. All are very helpful and it's like a family. All are helpful.
Admission
After HS I filled up the form for admission and then I was admitted via merit list. Every year at time of admission you will get the form in the official website and there you can filled it up and wait for merit list for admission. In case you didnt get chance then there helds a open councelling depending upon seats availability.
Faculty
There are some really good friendly and talented teachers in our college.But the problem is in some departments there are not sufficient teachers right now. I thik it will be solved soon. Current teachers and the part time teachers are really good and helpful.
