Campus (you can roam around at anytime of the day)
Highly talented and intelligent crowd, but it can be taken as a good and bad both

Dislikes

Due to all toppers at a place it's difficult to get a high CG
You will have regular quizzes so if you don't manage accordingly so you might end up failing
You may not have times to pursue your hobbies of want a high CG.

I didn't had a particular interest in this field but now that I have this electrical branch I feel I have keen interest in this subject and also teaching methods are quite good and professors are also good at teaching but there are few teachers who have very strict policies which can be depressing at times and hard courses where you need to work really hard.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For me,Yearly around 3 .5 lakhs go(fees +hostel) But for SC/ST/EWS they get free hostel and have reduced fees also. There are a lot of scholarships that a re provided to people with low family income, I haven't availed them so don't know a lot about it but I have seen my batchmates avail them Once you come to iitd you will get regular mails about any such scholarships.

Campus Life

We have a annual fest which quite good and you get to enjoy in that a lot and its an escape from the hectic schedule that we have at IIT . In library we get access to all kinds of books and journals also we have another library which has literature books.Students get access to all activities and sports that anybody could be a part of if they qualifiy their basic criteria.

Admission

I also applied for other IITs and NITs but this was the best branch in the best IIT I could get according to my rank in JEE advanced also IIT Delhi is famous for its EDC club so I was very much keen to explore it.

Faculty

Faculty ratio depends subject wise it can be 500-600 students per teacher or maybe 100 -150 students per child. But tutorial classes are taken in a group of 30 people where doubts are solved Exams are considerably difficult and you need to study a lot for them. And yes students do fail

Placement Experience:

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

An Unbiased Look at DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. The average package is around 20 LPA and the highest package is 85 LPA. The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked physics and applications of physics so chose mechanical engineering, as ut has a lot of application of physics directly can really see how things work not just ideally but actually Curriculum is really good besides getting assignments which noone takes seriously everyone just copies , there must be much more practical stuff so that everyone learns but we do get that in tech teams but not directly as a student in college. There must be practical teachings and proper guidance proper high level machineary must be there, industry visits must be there and internships in such companies must be encouraged There are 5 exams of 1.5 hour considered as mid sems and 6 exams of 3 hours considered as endsems

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges.
