Diving deep into VIT Pune

The course curriculum is based on what its require for the placement purposes and it makes student industrial ready. Semester exams are quite average, the pass percentage is nearly 90 to 95% and at least 10 to 20 students get above 9 CGPA.

Top recruiting companies were JPMC , Deutsche Bank, Barclays,etc. 20 percent of students got internship+ PPO offering. There are certain rounds to clear an internship and a development or ML project helps in increasing the chances of getting job.

The year wise fees for VIT Pune is 191554 for my year. However it may increase with the new starting batch. There are different type of tuition fees caution fees and registration fees as registration fees for the cap round is 1500 for 2023 to 2027 session while the spot ACAP round admission fees is nearly between 6000, if you attend all the three spot ACAP round. I don't know what the exact amount of reservation fees required for the reserved categories but for OBC, its like 52000 and SC/ST ,it is 30000 or something. And all these reservation categories are only applied if you are from the Maharashtra state.

There are good facilities in our college. We have campus wifi , incubation labs. The campus area is a bit small. We have a small lawn between the buildings with a nice library. The journal library is seperate from the books library. The college also have a common reading. There is a student club named Saarthi.

I live G.B. Rathi maheshwari hostel where mess facilities are good as compared to other tiffin centers nearby. The hostel fees is Rs 84,000. But it is only restricted to Marwadis(Jain and Maheshwari).

I choose this course on my JEE mains percentile as well as my elder brother was also pass out from this branch. He Got a package of 20 LPA so it was a testimony for me. I have no ther good option left for taking the college. Also the Pune culture is the reason which brought me here.

The faculties are quite good. They help whenever we want. The head of department of this which is for the first year is so friendly with the students in providing any kind of help from personal to professional life. Some of the good faculties name are Chandrashekhar Mahajan, Rupali Deshpande and Arati Deshpande. There is one midsem exam and then one endsem examination.Hardly 50 students of 1500 wouldn't be le to clear the exams.
