in exams quetions are detailed you have to study deeply to get full marks but teachers also check lenient copy if hard paper was set by the professors they help you to improve your skills and provide the intern

Nit Srinagar also provides interns in all different streams in all big companies and offers good stipends to students with good experience. teachers have good contact in different companies that also help

good placements offers after the third pre placements offer started Jindal Steel Vipro some PSU companies jio etc. approx 75 percent of students placed this year i want to do MTech after my btech degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nit Srinagar provides you with three different categories for fee. below 1 lakh,1-5 lakhs, above 5lakhs, below one lakh students don't have to pay an academic fee ,1-5 have to pay only 1\3of the academic fee and above 5 have to pay the total amount and sc/st all academic fee should not have to pay.

Campus Life

nit Srinagr has a diverse student population from all over India creating a vibrant cultural atmosphere clubs are dance club robotics clubs etc here well equipped laboratories and research facilities

Hostel Facilities

hostel for both boys and girls available with all facilities and well-furnished rooms lighting fans 24-hour lights wifi facility and big rooms one room of boys have 6 students and connected mess facility

I chose Nit Srinagar because i love nature i love mountains greenery and the cold climate. you also know Jammu and Kashmir is known as heaven on earth that the main reason the attractive weather snow attracts me

here one semester was conducted in two exams mid-term and end-term midterm had 26 marks and the end term had 50 marks and 24 marks for the internal assessment i like mr bilal Wani maths faculty here 26 students have 1 teacher

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. The placement rate was of 108.38%.

Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good things is that they offer minor courses for us where we can choose extra courses which we may find interesting and yaa not only that interdepartment projects can also be chosen which is very strange but don't seems relevant.curriculum earlier they were following of iit Delhi and new curriculum is not very exact and relevant because sometimes there are some unnecessary courses and no point of learning that course which forcefully imposed on us to take this course as it comes under institute department courses and are mandatory which is not so good

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th. A score of 96 - 97 p;ercentile is enough for an OB/C or General student and 93% -90 perccentile for SC / ST students. NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

So i had already made my mind that I was going to join NIT Srinagar so my top preference during my josaa counselling included CS , IT nit Sri then nit Agartala cse then mnit Jaipur / mechanical civil ( in case I don't get CS / IT in initial rounds hence I should labd safely in my home state college ) the avg score for other state students to get CS / IT is around 98-98.5 % Ile my own rank was 22k and i got nit Sri in CSAB round 1...Read More
