Likes

Atmosphere, faculty are best in the university of kashmir
I also liked the educational environment in the university of kashmir
And moreover I liked the co curriculum of the university

Dislikes

Lack of practical knowledge , no placements
CGPA issues i.e appropriate marking is not done

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good in the university but I would prefer to increase the number of placements and practical knowledge. Moreover the educational tours and industrial tours should be incorporated in the university

Talking about overall experience, to some extent i realised that it was not a better option for me to do MBA in University of Kashmir due to lack of placements and lack of practical knowledge . Talking about clubs, student portals , they are well incorporated in the university of kashmir

Admission

I got an admission in University of Kashmir through UGAT entrance examination. After attempting for the UGAT , I applied for the university of kashmir where I showed my merit in UGAT and I got selected. The cutoffs for UGAT usually remain in between to 50-60

Faculty

The faculity to student ratio is good in terms of number and the relationship between students and teachers is excellent. I can't reveal the names of teachers which I don't like. And talking about exams, there are 2 exams per year and 2 internal exams as well.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements from 3rd semester itself. The companies that provide placement in the department are ICICI BANK, AMAZON , ITC, BIRLA OPUS, HDFC BANK and many other . The ICICI Bank offers the highest package i.e. almost 10 lakh .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well it is good to b an MBA in my residential area, that people mostly belong to tourism sector, The guidance and honesty among my teachers transform into me to face the world. Needs to upgrade the teachers training with technology. Exam papers are extremely difficult and the level is high, although our teachers were very talented who teach us how to handle each and every tough situation.

My MBA experience at Jammu University

Admission:

The admission to the MBA programme is based on the CUCET score which is conducted by the college. The minimum eligibility criteria for the general category is 55% marks with a bachelors degree. Same applies for masters in some other field.

I didn't apply for other college but i had opportunities while councelling, I might go in other universities like baba ghulam shah baadshah university in my own district rajouri but the reason of rejecting that university because fee was very high there.Otherwise my opinion about that university is also amazing.I didn't get any rejection from any college.
