- Very poor placement services, like zero placement for few courses.
- Poor laboratory facilities, most of the required equipments are not available there.
- Hostel rules for girls are very strict which should be changed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum to perfectly fine to influence someone but they should change their teachings style. Instead of giving theoretical knowledge they should give practical knowledge. And they should also inform the students atleast 1 month before exams for preparation.
Fees and Financial Aid
20-24 batch paid 76500 per annum for btech course. For the SC/ ST category the fee was 200 rupees but after the scholarship (90 thousand) they have to pay the remaining amount. The scholarships we get as general is 63000, OBC gets 54000 and SC ST gets 90000.
Campus Life
My overall college life is beautiful because the college was too much into cultural events. There are many clubs too which you can join in as per your interest. As I was interested in signing club so I enjoyed a lot there . There are sports competitions as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is overall good , the only issue is with the mess they messup sometimes. Rest you will get a good warden and matron , rules are strict specially for evening entry time. You will get a friendly environment no doubt. Well furnished rooms are there. You can get the hostel by applying on college portal. And if you want to stay in room you can search in Shivaji Nagar or veerangana nagar they are very close locality to college.
Admission
I choose this college because it was the only 2nd govt college for btech biotechnology which I was getting after qualifying AKTU exam. I had no other option. When I took admission that time the admission was on the basis of AKTU rank. But later on they are taking direct admission.
Faculty
The faculty is good for students. I like my faculties of btech department because they teaches us very well. There are 2 semester exams in a year, and they are very easy to clear. All the questions almost belongs to what the teacher taught.
