Reality of NIET plot 19

Course curriculum is all based on the course we are studying like as for cyber security students, i studies ethical hacking, cyber threat intelligence and DBMS web technologies etc. There are practicals to get idea of what we are studying. Teachers are helpful with doubt and supports our idea and point of view.

In the second year college will ask you to complete one online or offline intership, either paid or unpaid and college will share a list of companies where we can do our intership. As for project, we get our first and second mini project in 4th sem one related to web technology and other to our domain and teachers are helping with our doubts and challenges.

Placement of NIET is nice with approx 70% students are getting placed also this year until now 4 students are placed with 40lpa . Companies like infosys, Capgemini, GoDaddy and many more visit the college. Our highest package is 53lpa and average is 6 to 7 lakhs with minimum 4 lakhs. Currently my first goal is getting placed in cyber security domain.

Per year fee structure is 1.5 lakhs and the college supports scholarship like UP scholarship and bihar students credit cards . You can submit fee in semester-wise manner with some discount on full year fee payment at once. Also there are penalty if you get absent in the workshops conducted by the college and the penalty generally is 1000.

There are 2-3 main small fests one is sanskriti that happens in April and one is garba night in navratri and last is jagmag in diwali that got cancelled last year due to acadmic reasons. Our college have so many clubs like kalakriti, hid club , nritya bhakti and others for social work , fests , musical,sports and even for startups. There is one sport fest that always happens in last Feb to start march.

I am in college hostel and My room is old fashioned but spacious with cupboard and study table, mess is in basement and mostly common washroom is available only which are terribly dirty . Mess food includes breakfast (paratha, bread, sandwich,etc) lunch(chawal rajma, lobia ka dal, chole bhature, biryani,kadhi, raita,etc) evening snacks (noodles,bhelmodhi,chane,samosa,etc)and dinner (chawal daal aloo matar, poori kheer, chole chawal, panner, gulab jamun, custard ,etc ) There are so many hostels and pgs near pari Chowk, tugalpur and knowledge park 3.

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time.

So there are 8 classes a day that includes both lectures and labs . The faculty are mostly nice and knowledgeable, a few lacks maybe. . And our HOD is pretty nice and helpful. Each lecture is about 50 min and some time 2 lecture of same faculty a day . As for exam every month there is a sessional exam , 2 are written one is objective and the main semester exam happens every 5 months.

No I didn't cause I got direct addmission based on my marks and academic excellence but you will have to face interviews if you are getting admission from counselling from jee or cuet. For admission in cse departments you have to score atleast 80% in your 12 and 10th examination.

I will say for a girl there is no life outside hostel campus because you are not allowed to go to even college campus unless you need to pick an order or buy something from college canteen that too till 9 pm , there is no gym . Yes but you can get outpass till 6pm and hangout in grand venice mall , jagat farm market, ithum galleria etc.
