Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum prepares us very well for the real world problems and applications because they organise workshops and technical events and insightful sessions with very well known personalities in the particular field.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships after 3rd year. Generally the stipend provided is very low. But if we take internship from off campus then college supports and provide the time for the same to do that provided it must be from a trusted company.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester onwards, students are eligible for the campus placements. All the big companies visit our college like microsoft, amazon, google, accenture, ibm, etc. Percentage of students getting placed is 98%. If a student doesn't gets places either he goes to further studies or for startups.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first year The fees is generally around 180000 per year thereafter it gets decreased to 157000 in second year (all included). No other fee is charged on the name of lab, registration,caution or other. There are government scholarship schemes available in the college which an eligible student can avail easily.
Campus Life
Jagmag and Sanskriti is the only annual and cultural event organised in the college. Other than that the campus life in terms of enjoyment is a bit complex. Infrastructure is also not a proper aspect for a person to choose the college. But overall it is good.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year I was in college hostel, and after that I took a private hostel because the gate closes at 6 in winters and 8 in summers in college hostel which is the worst part. Every facility is provided inside the room including attached washrooms as well.
Admission
Other than this I've applied for GL Bajaj and Galgotias college of engineering. After this I've applied for my college. I got confirmation for this via councelling. Instead of other colleges one positive point is that my college is an autonomous institute. This helps so much in exams.
Faculty
The faculties are very supportive and well educated. And also the ratio is proper. The faculties are very approachable. If I had to rate out of 10, i would give a 9/10 for the faculties. There are three sessional exams and one semester exam for every subject.
Night Life
Gym facilities are provided in the hostel premises, cafeteria is the best place for hangouts and fun. Library is also well equipped and best for exam times. The locality is safe in night also. Inside the college the cafeteria is the best place for hangout and outside the college, there are several market areas for fun, like jagat farm Market, etc.
