Course Curriculum Overview
1) There is no specific aspect of being a Biology student in 12th. I did not got enough marks in neet exam that why I chose Biotechnology as a course in my undergrad. 2) Curriculum will well prepare us for real-world applicationa dn further also to purse academic pursuits. 3) The course curriculum must give students a clear picture of where we can see our future to earn money after completing the course, and the teaching method must be more practical rather than theoretical. 4) Frequency and timing of exams are good and enough time is provided to prepare for it and diffculty will be medium to average level not very difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The per-semester fee for B.Tech Biotechnology is around 65,335 rupees per semester. which comes out to be 1,30,670 rupees per year. At the time of admission in the first semester, the total amount charged is 80335.00 rupees. Tution fees/ Professional Education fees- 77000 rupees Security fees - 10000 Registration fees- 5000 General Personal Accident Insurance fee- 235 Examination fee - 3500 20 % Concession on professional education fee - 15400 Every semester, they charge a Professional Education fee, General Personal Accident Insurance, Examination fee. All have the same fees for all categories Up scholarship is available and can be availed by the Up domicile student only. and christian students can also available increase concession as this is a christan college.
Campus Life
1) In my department, one fest is conducted and organised on evert 2-3 years named Xpressions, and there are several workshops and national and international conferences conducted in univeristy auditorium, which is in my department. 2) Books and journals are available and easily accessible. 3) Facilities and technology are average. 4) There is sport day and annual athletic meet conducted every year in the college. 5) There are some clubs like photography, art and craft, and sports in the college.
Hostel Facilities
1) Fan, table, electricity, water filter, lights, newspaper, washroom, wifi, open wardrobe. 2) Meal quality is average, and the menu is different for all 7 days. The mess will be closed on Saturday night. 3) Registration is via filling the form, and affordability is very good cheap price for one year. 4) Gangotri Nagar, Friends Colony, Mahewa etc
Admission
1) I didn't get selected anywhere good, and there was COVID at that time. Due to that, everything is delayed that why I chose this college. 2) No, my family chose this college from all other colleges as this one is semi government college and the fee is comparatively affordable compared to other private colleges where I got selected. 3) Admission process is direct for most courses and for B.sc agriculture and horticulture their is a separate college entrance test.
Faculty
1) The faculty-to-student ratio is average; many faculty members want to leave this college because of salary issues. Faculty-student relationship is good, and they are approachable for course-related queries and other concerns. 2) Blessy ma'am, as she teaches really well and wants us to excel in academics. 3) Many are in our department because they take their job as government service, are not responsible, and they lack knowledge for their teaching. 4) There are 2 semesters' exams every year, which held in May-June and December. The difficulty depends on course and the semester subject. Mostly, student passes the exam pass to repeat ration will be 90:10.
Night Life
1) There is a gym whose condition is not good. The library will close by 5-6 pm, and the public area closing time will be 7-8 pm in night. 2) Campus is open 24*7 and hostel timing is only for girls' hostel, not for boys' once, which is 7-8 pm for girls. 3) Love lane, Love garden, cafe, ground, Daniel etc.
