Likes

I like the campus which very broad and natural
It is good that there are people from different state to learn there culture and know more about it and interact with other states of people and country
Almost everything is available inside the campus

Dislikes

Paid food for hostlers which is very worst thing
If you have lost your identity card you have to pay 5000 to get new one
They don’t allow outside foods inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

I always want to be in creative field so I searched a lot and finally found this course which best fits for me and curriculum prepared me by presentation prototyping ideation etc. I guess faculty should more focus on digital era instead of the paper works because the upcoming generation is full of technology and digital works only and about the exam everything is good in my perspective exams are easy to crack if you are focused in the class

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 184000 and it get increased by 5% per year and I'm in ST catergory the fees criteria is same for all the category .... and the scholarship is like if you have scored the highest in the class in semester exams so you will get full refund of the semester fee which is 92000 increases 5 percent each year

Campus Life

All the festival with so much celebration and enjoyment like HOLI , LODHI , and some south festivals mostly all the books are available in the library and tecconlogica in my opinion everything is available WiFi, projector etc. if needed and you are most welcomed for any sports beside the course which will increase your credit score and will help to gain more marks and a little bit impact on the students who run social groups clubs by this they loose classes thats it

Admission

Admission process requires 12th pass and you can easily apply online and all the details are available on it you can use the collegedunia website for this and there is reservation benefits the timing of exam is great in my perspective and I don't think so there is more need in improvement of amdmission process

Faculty

Faculties are well qualified and in my course the ratio is 1:30 which quite good to handle and interact with each student and help them and cooperate we can interact with faculty anytime we want and as many time as you can

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.
