Course Curriculum Overview

As we know the modern world is unable to run without the softwares we need. So in this time Computer Science knowledge is very much important for every students. So our college provides the chance to grow the knowledge and skills for the computer science as every students can easily grow with the modern technology.

Internships Opportunities

From 5th semester our college offered internships in many companies with starting stipend 2 lpa. Also our college provides summer internships for the 3rd year and 4th year students. by the internships the students works with the real life projects for their better placement ingood company in future.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester the students are eligable for campus placements. The companies are visited like TCS, wipro, capgemini, cognizent, accenture, infosys, paytm, amazon and many others. The highest package of the placements are around 20-30 lpa and the average package is 3.5-4 or 5 lpa. Every year the maximum students of every branch are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

As first I want to mention that our college has several field of engineering. As my stream is Computer Science and Engineering, for that the total fess structure is Rs. 4,36,406, if I calculate it in yearly it stands as Rs. 1,09,100. The tution fees for each semester stands for around Rs. 50,000. Also our college provides several type of scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship which directly offered by the West Bengal Government and also merit scholarships and many others.The addmission fees is around Rs. 70,000 and the caution money os Rs. 10,000 is refundable.

Campus Life

Our college organize a grand annual fest and tech fest in every year. Also our college organize many cultural events and seminars for the betterment of the students. We have many cultural clubs like music club, drama club, photography club and sports club. Also our college has a big stock books in library of every field of branches. The books are all time avaliable for study. Also the study material for each semester is provided by the library.

Admission

Our college has three types entrance admission - WBJEE, JEE mains, JEXPO. Also it has direct admission process. The cut of the WBJEE is around 70 thousand. Also the particlular student have to complete Higher secondary examination (10+2) with science background have to score over 60%.

Faculty

Maximum teachers has master degree and PHD degree at their subjects. The teachers are helpful and always helps the students to clear the doubts. The relation of students with the teachers is very good. Their learning technique is very impressive for the students.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

Best ever college

I applied in some other colleges and such (most of them low-level),some through the WBJEE allotment,and others through word of mouth.I stuck with this college because it felt "right" in every way.The admission process was simple,I went into the college,filled in some documents,and got admitted.From what I gathered,the admission criteria is that you pass physics and mathematics,and have an aggregrate 45% in physics,mathematics and (chemistry/computer science/biology) combined.I did not have much of counselling day,aside from a physical reporting to the admission cell....Read More

To get admission in SurTech (yes it is what now we call in short ) all you need is your diploma markshit. Though they ask you for Jelet you can also get admission through the management quota. But for an easy transition, I recommend you to just have your 10th/Diploma/Jelet certification with you.
