- The faculty :- they are very learned and professional. Also very helpful
- The infrastructure:- covered in greenery and spacious with good ventilation
- The. Course:- the course structure is very efficient which doesn’t add extra stuff to great pressure, neither does it misses onto anything.
Dislikes
- There are very few extra curricular activities
- Competitive environment between students sometimes causing difficulties
- Lack of internships or placements which is a drawback for student looking out for those
Course Curriculum Overview
The subject curriculum is very ingeractive and practical. I have have English and practical and each has practical periods to ensure practical knowledge. Also the psychological tests provide real life clinical knowledge. The improvements I would want is to introduce more modern tests in psychological setting. There are semester exams two times in a year and mid semester tests in between every semester exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees vary every year, my fees in first year was 30000 but in second year it was 27000. Meanwhile the cost of honours (if opted) is additional which vary from 1000-3000. Yes there are scholarships for like student of sports quota
Campus Life
There is youth festival of whole Punjab university typically held in October month, also the college has its own festival called MERAKI in February . There is projector in every class for presentations and there are ac and speakers in the halls and practical classes. There is NCC AND NSS unit also the college is indulged in volley ball and other sports. Yes there are societies run by students for co curricular and also for LGBTQ+ community.
Admission
The eligibility (for bachelors in arts) programme is that you have cleared your class 12th exam in minimum 50% above. The admission is done in two ways, online and offline. Online through MCM official site and offline through visit college during June month. There are no eneterace exam for this course and the course exam are done two times in a year (6 months). I would want to suggest the college to have an updated notice board which announced even smallest of notices regarding admissions and college re opening
Faculty
The class maximum consists of 50-60 students which makes it easier for the teacher to keep an eye on every student. The faculty is very helpful and make sure every doubt is cleared. Also there are mentorship programmes regularly for student teacher interactions. We can intereact with teachers anytime and they will be there to help this is the best thing about them
