Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is very good like if I talk about my course it was chemistry honours so the way classes was scheduled very nicely along with labs any they try to give even a day off to us in week apart from sunday so that we can manage everything . If I talk about the timing it was 8:30 in the morning so it was a little bit difficult for us in winter mornings but there is no scheduled time for lunch breaks.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

My fees was around 16-17k per annum at the time of admission. In addition you have to pay for examination fees at the time of your semester exams and that's all. There are also many scholarship available especially for students belonging to economically weaker section. Students could also apply for inspire scholarship that gives a handsome amount of money around 60-80k per annum.

Campus Life

4

My campus life was very good. Along with studies you can also enjoy fests here for which delhi university is famous. Also short events keep conducting by the council like Diwali mela and all. Library was very nice with facility of water cooler and air conditioner with food sitting capacity having wide range of books. Although AC's are not available in classrooms but still the are very wide and big with good environment. Along with all this sports meet is also conducted . Inter department and inter college game competitions are also conducted. Freshers and farewells are also conducted officially and unofficially in clubs around the campus.

Admission

At my time admission was based on merit system but now it was according to your cuet exam . But the admission process is quite easy and can be done even sitting at home. You just have to go Delhi university offical website and fill the adminission forms after giving your cuet exam. The cuet exam is based on 11 and 12 classes syllabus. The cut off is generally high for general students but a bit low for ews and obc students and more less for sc/st.you can also avail the benefits if you are a sportsperson by applying through ECA quota. For chemistry honours course the eligibility is that you must be a student studying physics chemistry maths in your 12th class.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of ramjas is literally the best . Educated and experienced teachers are there which are very helpful also inspire students to join internships also. Keeps on informing Students about the quizzes ongoing not just within our college but also in other colleges and inspire us to participate. Mentorship classes are also conducted for students so they can discuss or share their thoughts with the teachers or discuss if they are having any problem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think my course was very best for those who have not decided their future plans. They want to explore more field of science not restricted to a particular field (as like me). It includes biochemistry, botany, zoology and physics chemistrynot (not so much). So it gives you number of opportunity to persued different field as your career in future.

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications

Placement Experience:

After completing the IV Semester, students become eligible to participate in Campus Placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and DeShaw visit campus every year and recruit students. The highest package offered for the Batch of 2023 is 21 LPA, and the Overall Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. But No. of Placements is less due to some factors, such as Companies being fewer the number of visits here, also the Majority of Students opt for a master's. CGPA should be more than 8, to sit in Placements. My Plan is to do a master's if I can't get the placements then Polish my skills to get a job in a reputed company in IT.
