- Some of the teachers are well educated and they help the students as well.
Dislikes
- This University dont have that much faculty, my course has 7 sections and all the sections have different class routine everyday which is a hassle itself and my classes ends at 6 pm in the evening.
- Ragging is still there in this University, not very harsh but still the bad seniors come and take intro from the first year students.
- The campus is huge but the area is not utilised completely and it is a complete waste
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of my course BCA(H) is nice compared to other courses, because it has all the newer subjects and technologies which are important for a student to learn before going forward in the industry. Improvements can be made in the mode of teaching and the way of teaching.
Internships Opportunities
Internships which are given in the first years are mostly un-paid and are from startups and small companies, the roles are based on the course. The internships are not so much valuable for the portfolio, consider outside internships which are paid.
Placement Experience
University claims 70% placements and the companies are IBM, Wipro, TCS, HDFC BANK, etc. Students get opportunity in the last year of their course. If you don't get placements on-campus then applying for off-campus placements or going for the masters is an option. I am planning to go for higher studies after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
When i inquired for the admission in March, 2023, fees was less but when i went to enroll myself in May,2023 after my boards result, fees got increased by 10% and i paid 65000 for the first semester along with donation fees 50000 which was because of my marks. In second semester i paid 59000+2000 exam fees, same in 3rd semester and so on. All the students are paying the same amount and the fees is really very high according to the college resourses.
Campus Life
There are lot of events in this University like Enthusia, Sahotsava, etc. but joining them is a task for the students because the openings are not that much fascinating and clubs are not that much advanced or extra ordinary, all those normal clubs of dancing, singing only. Issuing books from library is also very bad experience because they have their people sitting there and they dont allow you inside the library, if they want they will issue the books or else they will refuse.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is 60% marks in 12th from any board. You have to visit the Sector V campus for the admission, there are no online forms. No additional exams for the university admissions. And they ask for donation of more than 50000 which is a bribe but still nothing can be done because it is compulsory to be paid
Faculty
Faculty of this University is a mixture of good and average teachers, some of the teachers are very approachable but some of them are very strict. Teaching methods are very very traditional, not that much technology has been implemented in teaching which makes the experience a little boring. Faculty ratio les compared to other colleges because there are very few teachers compared to the sections of one course.
