What Students Say

Likes

Environment is good and habitable. Daily cleanliness is done in the uni which makes is more beautiful
There are also free medical care and for sports every sport is available here to play including gym park library etc
Facilities are available like shops for groceries, books , xerox and printing shops are available which makes it easy for students

Dislikes

No maintenance of the hostels and it is kept as it is. It should be renewated every two years
The hostels should be near their respective departments as it becomes very difficult for someone like me to go to my department
Bus and auto facilities should be also provided as it becomes very difficult for students to go to their classes by walking

Course Curriculum Overview

Its okay. Not so good but I would appreciate the hardwork some teachers do they make us learn things and are teaching appropriately. Exam timings are good but the gaps between exams should be extend as we can't revise in 1 day min of 3days are required between each exam

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester we have to pay 50,000 rs and in the odd semesters additional 10,000 rs is included in the whole 4yr course. Tuition fees is 50,000 rs no caution money as I remember admission fees 10,000 rs and additional 1900 rs for examination. The fee structure is same for everyone. No scholarships are provided.

Campus Life

Overall campus life is good and enjoyable. As there are so many facilities available in the campus itself that we are never bored of also feasts are organised pretty occasionally and we get to enjoy there

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel is not so good but the other hostels are preety good and clean in our hostel facility is not at all provided and the quantity of the meal is very less and menu is same every week. Hosetel admissions are given during course admissions and yes it is affordable according to the price. For pgs and rents I would recommend duarah chouk, chetia chouk, kumarnichiga, milan nagar and etc

Hostel Fee: INR 1600 per year

Admission

Counselling is held and seats are allotted according to the marks gained in entrance exams. Forms are available in the official website. Reserved categories have 4/5 seats available for them for each different reservation and the rest are gen like 13 seats out of 60

Faculty

Faculty is not so good classes are not done accordingly and skipping of classes is more which makes it difficult to complete the whole syllabus and it becomes burden to students. They don't teach properly and ultimately we have to study by ourselves. Some of them are approachable while some of them ignore us and are not so helpful

Placement Experience:

Not good at all placements. Worst placement college that is ever been. They couldn't get companies coming to this college after such long times. The only companies which comes gives packeges as low as 200000 per annum. which is worst in these present times.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Our college has one of the best placement record in India From 7th semester you can apply for placements and there is cpi cap for attending some interviews The highest package in the year 2023 is 2.4 crores and lowest was 5.2 lakh Avg package is around 21.15 lakh which was amazing As expected of a teir 1 college Many tech gaints like Amazon, IBM , Microsoft etc visited for recruitment Around 639 jobs were offered Many different roles and profiles were offered in these placement recruitments like Software Development Engineer, Member Technical Staff, Design , R&D, Developers, Data Science,Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Analyst,Graduate Engineer Trainee, Post Graduate Trainee, Technical Executive etc... 1)Students become elgible from 3rd year for Pre-Placaemnt offer and and mostley placed by 4th year. 2)in tech field , all top MNCs come in thsi college including GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, AMAZON,NETFLIX and makes enough offer to pick up every CS student from campous. 3) Last year Highest package by 2Cr by a CS M.tech student from M.tech from UBER and everage is avout 30L for CS and little low for other Branches. 4)approx 90% placement and rest 10% are those who goes for highter studies and Civil servies 5)I will try to grab best placement out of all in IT sector only.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.
