Likes

The university help us to increase our presentation skill
teach us how to write a assignment in a proper way

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure and some specialization students even do not have classroom
faculties are not supportive or understanding the concerns of students
Work pressure for students are high and library timing was not good for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The entire curriculam was not at all satisfactory. It is not a updated curriculam an social work students didnt get any cuncurrent fieldwork and only classroom learning is provided in this university for the students.

Internships Opportunities

We have to do intership in our third semester . For that we students have to find companies and institutions. No stipend was given to the students. We have to pay for the internship. In fourth semester we have desertation.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first semester i have paid 13000 rupees as first semester fee.In second semester it was 8000 and in the third semester we have to pay 10500 rupees as fee. Tution fees caution fees admission fees, development fees,lab fees and other charges are included in thi fees itself. But we had paid a1500 rupees etc for our camp visit in the first semester. A sum total of 20000 rupees had paid as first year. For sceince students the fees was much higher and sc and st students will get relaxation of fees. We all have applied for NSP scholarship but till now we didnt get anything.

Campus Life

This university has a no such club and very low infrastructure is there in this university. The annual fest is know as ankur. All the hindu religious fuctions are held here. Some classes are not the smart one. The student who go to sports and extra curriculum didnt get any support from the departmen. There is no students portal to address the needs and problems of students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very very poor. In one small room there is 4 students and the room are not at all the strong one. In the rainy season it is leaking in almost all the room. The roof is in the stage of collapsing and the food was the worst one in this wortld. The students get different diseases after eating the food everyday.

Hostel Fee: INR 50500 per year

Admission

The admission to this university is through the cuet examination. The students can apply with cuet score through the official website of the university. The payment has to be done through online mode.

Faculty

The number of faculities are less and sometimes PHD scholars will take the class. The facaulty's approach to teaching and mentorship was not at all satisfactory to the students. The faculties will not address the concerns of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

iam sure this is only the couse that we can work with communities and social worker serve the people with humbleness. it learns to how to mingle with society, how to face the society and how to take challenges in positive way. improvement areas are field works, some students are not attend field work properly faculty has check with organization heads or HOD. Everything is good if students learn for exam. no difficulties in any exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum will help me good but the thing is iam doing in masters in social work dept it means theory should 50percent then practice knowledge should be 50percent but the thing is heare we sare not getting any field workonly for5days Camp in the 1styear rather than that we didn't getting any field work from the department.Actually I took these course is I need practice based paper so I need to involve with the people with involvement I can learn from them what are the problems are facing by them actually I need I really like to study about people's problems but here we are not getting any field exposure to learn.My suggestion is for department they should conduct a field work in week atleast 2days should be their for field work pratice department should take the students.They should follow strictly on the syllabus becouse as per syllabus department should provide us field work in some places mentioned in the syllabus.ThenI asked to teacher then he replied to me you know kannada

Unlocking the Real World: CUK

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some papers need to be updated and should include topic related to current issues and more discussions are need to be conducted in the classroom that improves the critical thinking of the students. For Social Work course field exposure is very relevant and important to increase the knowledge of the trainee. But the department is not providing any field exposure to the trainees according to their specializations. The only field experience students are getting from the one month block placement/ internship, but that is not enough for the students.

Tour of CU in the field of MSW

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students become eligible for campus selection and students are given support from the faculty members to join certain NGOs to work with. This makes the students develop their skills and learn new things by working with them. Students often end up working with these NGOs after finding the experience with them as productive. But Christ doesn't have many placements for the MSW course.

It's one of the good university in India

Remarks:

The university atmosphere is very nice and tge The university atmosphere is very nice and the and the Structure of the university is really awesome. The March and April time weather is not that much good , very hot around a 45° celsius hot. The administrative section Is not properly working.
