Govt model engineer College under KTU is one of the best colleges in kerala, cochin had a great experience their.
For social life and other interactions college have lot clubs such as NSS, iedc, tedx, fortitude, thanal, thodi, bhumithrasena

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is poor comparing to the others, basic facilities are less in the aspects of lab equipments.
Faculties are highly ranked but teaching skills are less, the students want to study by them self.Every thing is done by students itself .

Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows ktu curriculum and quite okay but comparing to the others dont much as espected. The college follows ktu syllabus and follows exams according to the ktu curriculum. In that 8 semester exams and 2 internal exams in each semsters

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College offers internship along with the placements . All the faculties promotes the students to do the internship's and also will have a break to do the internahips from outside. Also we can get internships from the placement cells also

Placement Experience

As i have mentioned college offers a excellent placements excespecially for computer students. Most of the students are placed. The placement cell maintains this in a effective way to make hundered percentage placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fee structure of the college have been divided for each categories. Fee for merit is 30000 anually, for management 65000 per year and NRI quota is also their for nri students . College offers lot of scholarships for students under specific categories

Campus Life

Overall experience was good i have learned lot from there regarding studies and other things of life. Got lot of friends. Had a great arts and sports and other activities. Club activities are too strong and are controlled students itself

Admission

Tha admission process are controlled by keam entrance exam. The admission procedures are done according to the scores obtained from the keam along with that plus two marks also considered and have three allotments and one spot allotments also their for the admission

Faculty

All the faculties are highly educated and are higly skilled but their connections towards the students is very less and not interactive towerds the students. Some of them are highly efficient than comparing to others

Remarks:

Good college with better infrastructure facilities providing large scope for intellectual learning. College academics also tries to improve the social commitment of students making them a socially responsible personality. Campus infrastructure also provides good ways to improve extra curricular activities.

Remarks:

My college is beautiful as it is located at a very beautiful place - Idukki. Idukki is a tourist place as it is gifted by the mother nature. So the climate and the vibes are extraordinary. Even though the transportation to here is little bit hard as it is on a hillside place and there is no railways to Idukki District.

Remarks:

Infrastructure and lab facilities are limited. Sometimes the faculities didn't get their salaries compulsary and it leads to their resignation.campus is not very wide. Many descision of management is not proper.

One of the top level government aided colleges

Remarks:

The college is one of the best in my state in terms of academics as well as all other fields .They present a field of opportunities for students to develop their skills. Labs and lectures are very good conducted by most qualified faculties. The only negative remark being that most of the better part of college is enjoyed better by the hostelers than the day scholars. Best in standards and academically striving.

Entrance Preview:

I attempted LET (Lateral Entry Test) and got rank 3 in the entrance. There was no doubt in selecting the college as CET as commonly called is the first Engineering college in Kerala. With lot of Alumin's around the globe, the college has one of the best placement record for the previous students.
