I attended common entrance test (CET) in my college at the time of admission. I did well in the exam and I got normal score . After I realized that that exam is not necessary for college admissions. If you have money then you can join the college with your low state board results . You don't need to worry about to getting admission.

For myself it is oil and gas stream . It is little bit easy to study and understand concepts . In our department what the top University follow the course regulations that is follow and one or two subject is little bit from other.

Probably they are providing internships for toppers because they focus on these type of students. They don't take care of others . Some of the students are trying himself to get intern outside without college permission by own. The students who are toppers only getting stipends and others nothing.

In our college there is top two departments are there . Our college are focusing these two (marine and natical science ) because they are getting placements every year with 40 - 50k per month . They maintained good placements record . Other departments like mechanical, electrical naval architect, petroleum,etc are getting very low placements every year.

For every two months of college days any events will conducted for students interest .Any conference will be conduct for particular department every months and cultural will held every year . Technical fest will conducted every month of September. Students can participate and develop their skills. Non-technical events also conducted with cultural.

They didn't provide anything related scholarship but they provide details regarding getting loan in the bank . Once they fix the fee you have pay for it.

One good thing is here no ragging, male ratio are greater than female ratio means that boys are more in numbers comparing to girls. In sports you have talent then they will lift you up . For every three month of duration they are conduct one intercollege competition for maritime institution. Workshops are available for interested person .

Coming to hostel and mess facilities are good . They allotted four people per room and no a/c rooms . Every one have common rooms . In rooms two tubelights , two sealing fan and two table fans are they would provide. Food are not a problems and it's is good

Yes they are really helpful at some part of time especially in exam of point of view. They are giving tips to clear the exams and evaluation. Some part of time they are giving valuable information about the companies and internships program. Some of seniors are contacted through LinkedIn and other social media .

Exam structure is nothing but 40 internal and 60 external marks . The person need to take complusory 20 in internal and 30 in external for passing the exam .pls just aware for mechanical subject allowed in one or two semester because these subjects are need to concentrate or else in case you fail . Then other exams are easy to pass .

When I was in my hometown I used to read the newspaper daily . In that time I saw the advertisement at back of newspaper on half page . Then I decided to visit and choose the petroleum engineering course. Admission process is like usual in every institute. They don't provide any scholarship for studying.

You can easily approach to the concern Faculty for you doubt and understanding concepts. They are really helpful for us . In our department the four or five faculty are highly qualified and experienced in industry. Remaining faculty are just qualified for teaching and evaluation.
