Remarks

The atmosphere at college is good, The faculty is also good enough and well experienced with good enough library and a reading room is also there, Seniors too are supportive mostly. It's one if India' s the best college. And was on 3rd after AIIMS and KGMU in Career360 rankings.

Entrance Preview

I searched about it lot on Quora and talked to a few fellows who knew about this college and came to know academic is very good and also good sports environment. My 1st option was MAMC but this was my 2nd choice.I missed MAMC by just 1 rank that's why I joined here

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it provides a 1-year internship to the students who complete there academic of 9 semesters. It is one of the biggest hospitals of east Delhi and patient turnout is quite good so one gets a good exposure, therefore one can learn a lot. Estimated stipend currently is around 16-19K I guess

Placement Experience

4

One can learn a lot and can become a decent doctor if He/She gives enough efforts , you can become a doctor in the hospital itself and will get a good amount of money or you can opt for further pg studies for which you have to take NEET- PG exam and can opt for MD courses you would like to pursue . There are also other exams like AIIMS PG and jipmer PG

College Events

3.5

The college being a medical college organizes various camps regarding awareness about organ donation and also regular blood donation camps are held. The main festival event of the college is RIPPLE, which is held every year in late March .which includes cultural activities, dance, music, dramatics, quizzes, etc With students from various colleges competing, also there are star nights featuring celebrities like singers and comedians. ARENA is the sporting event including many sporting disciplines which goes side by side of Ripple and also in September to welcome and encourage Juniors to participate

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are very affordable and are slightly different for each year, but not more than 10k per year for any of the year, also the hostel's facility are good enough at affordable rates. My first-year fees were around 7000 for the academics also there was an exam fee around 2k which depends on the no. Of subjects in that given year in which you are studying

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarship schemes I guess for people who have low family income belonging to minority and are citizens of Delhi

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is large enough and eco-friendly with adequate tree cover including few parks and a central field, the maintenance is though not that good the sports facility are also good you can participate as more as possible. There are a lot of societies if you want to learn new stuff or continue on your hobbies including dancing, literary, music, dramatics, fashion etc

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is good enough and the mess is also good enough keeping in mind the fees charged for it which are roughly 20K per year including both food and hostel. There are enough no. Of bathrooms and toilets also there is a separate hostel for 1st-year students called New Boys Hostel, which is being renovated in the past 1 year, new bathrooms and toilets have been made.

Exam Structure

There are a total of 4 professional exams held over 4 years as the course is divided into 4 years each of 2 semesters except the 2nd year, which is of 3 semesters. Before exams, there are setup examinations also an internal assessment is taken over the academic year to access student's progress The exam consists of both theory exams and practicals, also VIVAs based on both theory and practicals

Admission

I scored 649/720 marks in neet and thus secured 270 AIQ rank, also I appeared for jipmer and got 233 ranks. Obc -37 , I took admission there as there was case going on neet , but as soon as 1st counseling results were announced I got BHU, I reported there leaving jipmer as I was sure I will get MAMC or UCMS in 2nd round, which I got, after few documents verification, form filling fee submission I got admission in UCMS Delhi

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is one of the best in the following course among all college of India comparable to AIIMS and jipmer. The especially 1st year there is a lot more effort made by teachers as it is one of the building years for the student. The faculty is vastly experienced and very helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Bcoz in mbbs in addition to money there is also a lot of respect, plus it is easy to explain what are u doing ? 2. There are a total of 100 students in our batch and there are at least 2-3 assistant professors, 1 head of department, and at least 4-5 postgraduate and senior residents 3. Assistant professor and Head of the department has already completed there pg's and has experience of 5-10 year of teaching, Senior resident had also completed their pg but the difference between sr's, AP, and HoD is that sr's have lack of experience 4. There is an exam after completion of a particular unit and this is easy then comes the term exam which occurs after 2-3 months it comes under the category of moderate then there is pre-proof before the proof this is quite hard even for some say it's harder than proof, then finally comes off the last exam of that particular year after proof another year start bcoz results of proof usually take 2,3,4 weeks at least
